Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dalam pemahaman pembelajaran materi status kamar pelajaran housekeeping kelas XI Perhotelan SMK Negeri 32 dengan menggunakan media sistem hotel Armadillo. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain pre eksperimen one group pre-test pos-test design. Adapun subjek yang digunakan yaitu terdiri dari 34 siswa kelas XI Perhotelan 1 di SMK Negeri 32 Jakarta. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukan adanya peningkatan yang cukup signifikan dilihat dari rata-rata nilai pre-test yaitu 4,97 dan post-test yaitu 7,51 yang menunjukan kenaikan dari hasil belajar. Selanjutnya hasil dari nilai rata-rata N-gain sebesar 0,5015 dan N-gain score sebesar 50,14% yang tergolong dalam kategori sedang yang berarti bahwa media pembelajaran sistem hotel Armadillo telah memberikan kontribusi yang cukup signifikan dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar pada siswa kelas XI Perhotelan 1 SMK Negeri 32 Jakarta. Dan hasil dari uji hipotesis menggunakan paired sample t-test dengan hasil yaitu sig. (2-tailed) 0,000 < 0,005 maka disimpulkan terdapat perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa kelas XI Perhotelan 1 SMK Negeri 32 Jakarta sebelum dan sesudah penerapan media pembelajaran sistem hotel Armadillo pada mata pelajaran housekeeping. Namun, untuk mencapai hasil yang lebih optimal, perlu dilakukan penyesuaian atau peningkatan lebih lanjut dalam metode atau media pembelajaran yang digunakan. Temuan ini menyarankan penerapan yang lebih luas di institusi pendidikan kejuruan. ***** This study aims to see an increase in student learning outcomes in the understanding of learning the status of the housekeeping classroom status material for class XI Hospitality SMK Negeri 32 by using the Armadillo hotel system media. This study uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experiment design, one group pre-test, post-test design. The subjects used consisted of 34 students in grade XI Hospitality 1 at SMK Negeri 32 Jakarta. The results obtained showed a significant increase in the average pre-test score of 4.97 and post-test of 7.51 which showed an increase in learning outcomes. Furthermore, the results of the average N-gain score of 0.5015 and the N-gain score of 50.14% which are classified in the medium category which means that the learning media of the Armadillo hotel system has made a significant contribution in improving learning outcomes in grade XI students of Hospitality 1 SMK Negeri 32 Jakarta. And the results of the hypothesis test using a paired sample t-test with the result of sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.005, it was concluded that there was a difference in the average learning outcomes of students in grade XI Hospitality 1 SMK Negeri 32 Jakarta before and after the application of Armadillo hotel system learning media in housekeeping subjects. However, to achieve more optimal results, it is necessary to make further adjustments or improvements in the learning methods or media used. These findings suggest wider applicability in vocational education institutions
