Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran religiusitas dalam memoderasi pengaruh academic self efficacy terhadap academic dishonesty dalam penyalahgunaan artificial intelligence pada mahasiswa Indonesia. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa aktif. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik convenience sampling dan jumlah responden 453 mahasiswa. Teknis analisis menggunakan moderated regression analisis (MRA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat efek moderasi religiusitas dalam mempengaruhi academic self efficacy terhadap academic dishonesty namun kekuatannya tidak begitu besar. Adapun berdasarkan hasil penelitian intervensi berbasis agama mungkin tidak menjadi rekomendasi utama dalam menurunkan perilaku ketidakjujuran akademik. ***** This study aims to determine the role of religiosity in moderating the effect of academic self-efficacy on academic dishonesty in the misuse of artificial intelligence in Indonesian students. The population in this study were active students. Sampling using convenience sampling technique and total respondents were 453 students. The technical analysis used moderated regression analysis (MRA). The results showed that there was a moderating effect of religiosity in influencing academic self-efficacy on academic dishonesty but the strength was not so great. As based on the results of the study, religion-based interventions may not be the main recommendation in reducing academic dishonesty behavior.
