Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Menganalisis kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa secara keseluruhan dalam menyelesaikan soal Open-Ended pada pokok bahasan luas permukaan dan volume prisma. (2) Menganalisis perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal Open-Ended pokok bahasan luas permukaan dan volume prisma ditinjau dari gaya kognitif. (3) Menganalisis perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal Open-Ended pokok bahasan luas permukaan dan volume prisma ditinjau dari gender. Metode penelitian pada penelitian ini yaitu kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus deskriptif. Teknik pengambilan sampel yakni purposive sampling dengan subjek penelitian 4 siswa laki-laki bergaya kognitif FI, 4 siswa laki-laki bergaya kognitif FD, 4 siswa perempuan bergaya kognitif FI dan 4 siswa perempuan bergaya kognitif FD. Instrumen pada penelitian ini adalah Group Embedded Figures Test (GEFT), Soal Open-Ended dan wawancara. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini dengan triangulasi data yakni reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil pada penelitian ini yakni 1 subjek penelitian mampu memenuhi 3 indikator kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis yakni berpikir lancar, luwes dan keterbaruan. 3 subjek penelitian mampu memenuhi 2 indikator berpikir kreatif matematis yakni berpikir lancar dan luwes. 1 subjek mampu memenuhi 1 indikator berpikir kreatif matematis yakni berpikir lancar dan 7 subjek penelitian tidak memenuhi 3 indikator kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis. Kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis jika ditinjau dari gaya kognitif berbeda-beda, subjek bergaya kognitif FI memunculkan indikator kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis yang lebih banyak dibandingkan dengan subjek bergaya kognitif FD. Selain gaya kognitif, jika ditinjau dari gender juga terdapat kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis yang berbeda-beda, kemampuan subjek laki-laki dalam memunculkan berpikir kreatif matematis lebih banyak dari pada subjek perempuan. ***** This research aims to: (1) Analyze students' overall mathematical creative thinking abilities in solving Open-Ended questions on the subject of surface area and volume of prisms. (2) Analyzing differences in students' mathematical creative thinking abilities in solving open-ended problems on the topic of surface area and prism volume in terms of cognitive style. (3) Analyzing differences in students' creative mathematical thinking abilities in solving open-ended questions on the topic of surface area and volume of prisms in terms of gender. The research method in this research is qualitative with a descriptive case study type. The sampling technique was purposive sampling with the research subjects being 4 male students with FI cognitive style, 4 male students with FD cognitive style, 4 female students with FI cognitive style and 4 female students with FD cognitive style. The instruments in this research were the Group Embedded Figures Test (GEFT), Open-Ended Questions and interviews. Data analysis in this research uses data triangulation, namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this research were that 1 research subject was able to fulfill 3 indicators of mathematical creative thinking ability, namely fluent, flexible and up to date thinking. The 3 research subjects were able to fulfill 2 indicators of mathematical creative thinking, namely fluent and flexible thinking. 1 subject was able to fulfill 1 indicator of mathematical creative thinking, namely fluent thinking, and 7 research subjects did not fulfill 3 indicators of mathematical creative thinking ability. The ability to think creatively mathematically when viewed from different cognitive styles, FI cognitive style subjects show more indicators of mathematical creative thinking ability compared to FD cognitive style subjects. Apart from cognitive style, if we look at gender, there are also different mathematical creative thinking abilities, male subjects' ability to generate mathematical creative thinking is greater than female subjects.
