Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media pembelajaran Armadillo Hotel system terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas XI Perhotelan 2 di SMKN 32 Jakarta. Metode penelitian menggunakan Pre-Eskperimental dengan One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Dengan sampel 35 orang, teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan cluster random sampling. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan tes pilihan ganda (multiple choice) yang diberikan saat pretest dan posttest. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial yaitu Uji-T. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui output yang diperoleh pada Paired Sample T-Test yaitu nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000>0,005 maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan media pembelajaran Armadillo Hotel system. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, peningkatan hasil belajar yang berawal dari rata-rata 61,30 menjadi 82,02 menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran ini membantu siswa memahami materi penyusunan menu lebih baik. Penggunaan teknologi memungkinkan siswa mendapatkan simulasi penggunaan sistem hotel secara langsung yang relevan dengan industri perhotelan, membantu menambah keterampilan siswa, dan kesiapan untuk kerja di bidang perhotelan. Hasil positif dalam penggunaan Armadillo Hotel system sebagai media pembelajaran ini juga dapat digunakan oleh pihak sekolah dalam memperluas, merancang, serta melibatkan teknologi dalam praktik pendidikan. ***** Abstract: This research aims to determine the effect of the Armadillo Hotel system as learning media on the outcomes of class XI Perhotelan 2 Students at SMK Negeri 32 Jakarta. The research method uses Pre-Experimental with One Group Pretest- Posttest Design. Using sample of 35 people, the sampling technique uses cluster random sampling. The data collection instrument uses multiple choice test which is given during the pretest and posttest. The data from this research were analyzed using descriptive statistic and inferential statisctics, the T-Test. From the research results, it is known that the output obtained from the Paired Sample T-Test is the Sig value. (2-tailed) of 0,000 > 0,005. In conclusion, there is a difference in the average learning outcomes before and after using the Armadillo Hotel system as learning media. the increase in learning outcomes starting from an average of 61.30 to 82.02 shows that this learning media helps students understand the menu preparation material better. The use of technology allows students to get a simulation of the use of a hotel system directly that is relevant to the hotel industry, helping to increase student skills, and readiness for work in the hotel sector. The positive results in using the Armadillo Hotel system as a learning media can also be used by schools in expanding, designing, and involving technology in educational practices.
