Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the performance of tools and human resources on the receiving activities of goods in the warehouse of CDC Banda PT Multi Terminal Indonesia. The background of this research is based on the increasing needs of the Indonesian people for imported goods, which require optimal logistics at Temporary Stockpiles (TPS) such as the Banda CDC warehouse. In the warehouse, receiving activities are an important part of the supply chain that ensures the smooth receipt of goods. This study uses a quantitative method with a data collection technique through a questionnaire with a sample of 44 warehouse staff respondents. The variables studied include the performance of tools (X1) and human resources (X2) with receiving activities (Y). Data analysis was carried out using validity tests, reliability tests, normality tests, homogeneity tests, and simple and multiple linear regression tests. The results showed that the performance of tools, such as forklifts and reach trucks, had a significant influence of Fcal 27.093 > from Ftabel 3.23 on goods receiving activities with a significance value of 0.001 < 0.050. In addition, human resources have a significant influence of Fcal 22.970 > Ftable 3.23 with a significance value of 0.001< 0.050 on receiving activities. Multiple regression testing proves that the tool performance variable is the most dominant variable that has a positive and significant influence on the receiving activities of goods in the CDC Banda PT Multi Terminal Indonesia warehouse compared to other independent variables. The conclusion of this study is that optimization of equipment performance and good management of human resources are needed to improve the efficiency of receiving activities in warehouses.
