Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengamati secara langsung kegiatan Manajemen Pendidikan Karakter Peduli Lingkungan Melalui Program Adiwiyata Di SMP Negeri 4 Setu Kabupaten Bekasi. Sub fokus penelitian ini adalah perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan pengawasan pendidikan karakter peduli lingkungan melalui program adiwiyata di SMP Negeri 4 Setu Kabupaten Bekasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendeketan kualitatif dan metode deskrikptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui teknik observasi, wawancara secara mendalam dan studi studi dokumentasi. Informan dalam penelitian ini meliputi: Kepala Sekolah, Ketua Tim Program Adiwiyata, Koordinator K7, dan dua orang peserta didik. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa: (1) Perencanaan pendidikan karakter peduli lingkungan melalui program adiwiyata di SMP Negeri 4 Setu Kabupaten Bekasi dilakukan dengan mengintegrasikan kegiatan Adiwiyata ke dalam peraturan sekolah, visi, misi, dan tujuan sekolah, serta mengitegrasikan semua mata pelajaran dengan pendidikan lingkungan hidup; (2) Pengorganisasian pendidikan karakter peduli lingkungan melalui program adiwiyata di SMP Negeri 4 Setu Kabupaten Bekasi dimulai dengan membentuk struktur tim adiwiyata, struktur organisasi duta lingkungan, dan struktur organisasi kelas; (3) Pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter peduli lingkungan melalui program adiwiyata di SMP Negeri 4 Setu Kabupaten Bekasi terintegrasi dengan kebijakan sekolah berwawasan lingkungan, kurikulum berbasis lingkungan, kegiatan berbasis partisipatif dan pengadaan sarana prasarana pendukung ramah lingkungan; (4) Pengawasan pendidikan karakter peduli lingkungan melalui program adiwiyata di SMP Negeri 4 Setu Kabupaten Bekasi dilakukan oleh pengawasan internal meliputi kepala sekolah dan guru. Kata kunci: manajemen, program, adiwiyata, peduli lingkungan *** This research aims to directly observe the Environmental Care Character Education Management activities through the Adiwiyata Program at SMP Negeri 4 Setu Bekasi Regency. The sub-focus of this research is planning, organizing, implementing and supervising environmentally caring character education through the adiwiyata program at SMP Negeri 4 Setu Bekasi Regency. This research uses a qualitative approach and descriptive methods. Data collection was carried out through observation techniques, in-depth interviews and documentation studies. Informants in this research included: School Principal, Person in Charge of the Adiwiyata Program, K7 Coordinator, and two students. The results of this research show that: (1) Planning for environmentally caring character education through the Adiwiyata program at SMP Negeri 4 Setu Bekasi Regency is carried out by integrating Adiwiyata activities into school regulations, vision, mission and school goals, as well as integrating all subjects with environmental education; (2) Organizing character education that cares about the environment through the adiwiyata program at SMP Negeri 4 Setu Bekasi Regency begins with forming an adiwiyata team structure, an environmental ambassador organizational structure, and a class organizational structure; (3) Implementation of environmentally caring character education through the adiwiyata program at SMP Negeri 4 Setu Bekasi Regency is integrated with environmentally friendly school policies, environmentally based curriculum, participatory based activities and means of providing environmentally friendly supporting infrastructure; (4) Supervision of environmentally caring character education through the adiwiyata program at SMP Negeri 4 Setu is carried out through internal supervision including the school principal and teachers.
