Abstract

PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN AIR (AUDITORY INTELLECTUALLY REPETITION) TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN KOMUNIKASI MATEMATIS SISWA DITINJAU DARI ADVERSITY INTELLIGENCE ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran AIR terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang ditinjau dari adversity intelligence. Metode penelitian yang digunkan adalah quasi experiment dengan desain posstest-only control design. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII di SMPN 12 dan SMPN 17 Kota Tangerang pada semester genap Tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunkan dua buah instrumen yaitu angket adversity intelligence dan tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: (1) kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang diberi perlakuan model pembelajaran AIR lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan siswa yang diberi perlakuan model pembelajaran ekspositori; (2) terdapat pengaruh interaksi antara model pembelajaran terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa; (3) kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang diberi perlakuan model pembelajaran AIR lebih tinggi dari siswa yang diberi perlakuan model pembelajaran ekspositori pada kelompok siswa yang memiliki adversity intelligence tinggi; (4) tidak terdapat perbedaan kemampuan komunikasi matematis antara siswa yang diberi perlakuan model pembelajaran AIR dengan siswa yang diberi perlakuan model pembelajaran ekspositori pada kelompok siswa yang memiliki adversity intelligence rendah. Kata Kunci: model pembelajaran AIR, kemampuan komunikasi matematis, adversity intelligence THE EFFECT OF AIR ((AUDITORY INTELLECTUALLY REPETITION) LEARNING ON STUDENT MATEMATIC COMMUNICATION ABILITY REVIEWED FROM ADVERSITY INTELLIGENCE ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effect of the AIR learning model on students' mathematical communication ability in terms of adversity intelligence. The research method used is a quasi experiment with the design of the posstest-only control design. The sample of this study was eighth grade students at SMPN 12 and SMPN 17 Tangerang City in the even semester of the 2018/2019 school year. Data collection was carried out using two instruments, namely the adversity intelligence questionnaire and a mathematical communication ability test. The results of this study are: (1) mathematical communication ability of students who are treated with AIR learning models are higher than students who are treated by expository learning models; (2) there is an interaction effect between learning models on students' mathematical communication ability; (3) mathematical communication ability of students who were treated with AIR learning models were higher than students who were treated with expository learning models in groups of students who had high adversity intelligence; (4) there is no difference in mathematical communication ability between students who are treated with AIR learning models and students who are treated with expository learning models in groups of students who have low adversity intelligence.
