Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan keraguan karier berdasarkan locus of control internal dan locus of control eksternal pada Remaja Akhir di SMA Negeri 14 Jakarta. Metode yang digunakan adalah komparatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 143 responden yang terdiri dari siswa-siswi kelas XI di SMA Negeri 14 Jakarta. Teknik yang digunakan adalah Convenience Sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah Skala locus of control dari Rotter (1966) dan Skala Keraguan Karier dari Germeijs dan Boeck (2002) yang telah diadaptasi oleh peneliti dan disebarkan melalui google form. Uji validitas pada item locus of control ditemukan 5 item yang tidak valid dan pada skala keraguan karier 2 item ditemukan tidak valid. Uji reliabilitas pada locus of control sebesar 0.555 dan pada Keraguan Karier sebesar 0.637. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai sig.(2-tailed) sebesar 0.186 > 0.05 serta thitung (1.329) < ttabel (1.976) yang menyatakan bahwa tidak adanya perbedaan keraguan karier yang signifikan pada siswa yang memiliki Locus of control internal dan Locus of control external. ***** This research aims to determine the differences in career indecisiveness based on internal and external locus of control in class XI students at SMA Negeri 14 Jakarta. The method used is a comparative with a quantitative approach. The sample in this study consisted of 143 respondents consisting of class XI students at SMA Negeri 14 Jakarta. The technique used is convenience sampling. The measuring instruments used are the Locus of Control Scale from Rotter (1966) and the Career Indecisive Scale from Germeijs and Boeck (2002), adapted by researchers and distributed via Google Forms. Validity tests on the locus of control items found 5 items to be invalid; on the Career Indecisive scale, 2 items were found to be invalid. The reliability test on locus of control was 0.555 and on Career Indecisive was 0.637. The results of the research show that the sig (2-tailed) value is 0.186 > 0.05 and tcount (1.329) < ttable (1.976) which states that there is no significant difference in career doubts between students who have internal Locus of control and Locus of control external.
