Abstract

*****ABSTRAK***** Skripsi ini menganalisis penggambaran kesehatan mental remaja dalam film “All the Bright Places”. Kata Kunci: psikoanalisis, remaja, kesehatan mental *****ABSTRACT*****This thesis examined the depiction of teenagers’ mental health in the movie “All the Bright Places”. Focusing on Violet Markey and Theodore Finch, it explores their respective struggles with PTSD and bipolar disorder. This study aims to show how their traumas effect their daily life and how they solve their psychological issues. The study employs Sigmund Freud’s psychoanalytic theory and Emil Kraepelin’s framework on bipolar disorder to analyze their psychological journey. Violet’s path to healing, aided by Finch, contrasts with Finch’s denial of his condition and eventual suicide. The research underscores the film’s role in highlighting the importance of mental health awareness and the need for effective support system for adolescents. Keywords: psychoanalysis, adolescence, mental health
