Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh intensitas penggunaan media sosial Tiktok, self-regulated learning dan internal locus of control terhadap prokrastinasi akademik pada SMK Negeri di Jakarta Utara. Metode pengambilan menggunakan kuesioner. Populasi terjangkau pada penelitian ini merupakan siswa dan siswi kelas 10 dan kelas 11 jurusan Akuntansi dari SMKN 23 Jakarta dan SMKN 12 Jakarta. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 166 orang dengan menggunakan teknik proportional random sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji prasyaratan analisis serta Uji hipotesis. Uji normalitas dan Uji linearitas menunjukkan data berdistribusi dengan normal dan linier. Uji hipotesis menujukkan hasil bahwa intensitas penggunaan media sosial Tiktok berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap prokrastinasi akademik. Sedangkan self-regulated learning dan internal locus of control berpengaruh secara negatif dan signifikan terhadap prokrastinasi akademik. Penggunaan media sosial Tiktok secara berlebihan dapat menyebabkan rasa malas, kecanduan serta menunda hal-hal penting termasuk tugas akademik yang dimiliki. Regulasi diri dalam belajar serta keyakinan dalam diri membuktikan dapat menurunkan tingkat prokrastinasi akademik. ***** This research aims to examine the influence of intensity of use of social media Tiktok, self-regulated learning and internal locus of control on academic procrastination at State Vocational Schools in North Jakarta. The collection method uses a questionnaire. The population covered in this study were students of class 10 and class 11 majoring in Accounting from SMKN 23 Jakarta and SMKN 12 Jakarta. The sample used was 166 people using proportional random sampling technique. The data analysis techniques used are analysis prerequisite tests and hypothesis testing. The normality test and linearity test show that the data is normally and linearly distributed. Hypothesis testing shows the results that the intensity of use of social media Tiktok has a positive and significant effect on academic procrastination. Meanwhile, self-regulated learning and internal locus of control have a negative and significant effect on academic procrastination. Excessive use of TikTok social media can cause laziness, addiction and postpone important things, including academic assignments. Self-regulation in learning and self-confidence have been proven to reduce the level of academic procrastination.
