Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya pengaruh Model problem based learning terhadap kemampuan menyelesaikan soal cerita kelas 2 di Kecamatan Jagakarsa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian experimen dengan pola posttest-only control desain. Subjek pada penelitian ini yaitu kelas IIC sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas IVB sebagai kelas kontrol pada SDN Tanjung Barat 07 dengan jumlah 60 siswa. Sampel diambil dengan teknik Cluster random sampling yang terbagi dalam dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok eksperimen dengan menggunakan model Problem based learning dan kelas kontrol dengan menggunakan model Inkuiri. Data dikumpulkan dengan tes hasil belajar dan dianalisis menggunakan uji-t. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan, diperoleh hasil thitung (17,54) yang lebih besar dibandingkan ttabel dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05 dengan nilai = 1,671. Dengan demikian, maka dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif penerapan Model Problem Based Learning terhadap kemampuan menyelesaikan soal cerita siswa kelas 2 sekolah dasar di Kecamatan Jagakarsa. This research aims to determine whether or not there is an influence of the problem based learning model on the ability to solve story problems class 2 in Jagakarsa District. This research uses an experimental research method with a posttest-only control design pattern. The subjects in this research were class IIC as the experimental class and class IVB as the control class at SDN Tanjung Barat 07 with a total of 60 students. Samples were taken using the Cluster random sampling technique which was divided into two groups, namely the experimental group using the Problem based learning model and the control class using the Inquiry model. Data was collected using learning outcomes tests and analyzed using the t-test. Based on the calculation results, the tcount (17.54) was obtained which was greater than ttable with a significance level of 0.05 with a value = 1.671. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a positive influence of the application of the Problem Based Learning Model on the ability to solve story problems students class 2 elementay school in Jagakarsa District.
