Abstract
***** This research aims to develop a digital comic learning media called KAMARI (Kami Menyukai Mari) to stimulate the empathy abilities of children aged 5-6 years. The research method used is the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Respondents included a material expert and a media expert for feasibility testing, a practitioner for assessing the readability of the usage guide, and 15 children aged 5-6 years as test subjects. Data were collected through assessments by the experts, evaluation of the usage guide by the practitioner, and observations of the children. The results of the assessment by the material expert were 95% and the media expert were 90%, while the evaluation of the readability of the usage guide was 82.5%. Tests on the children showed an average empathy ability of 85.18%. Based on these results, the KAMARI digital comic can stimulate aspects of empathy in children, including recognizing, understanding, appreciating, and responding to the feelings of peers. Further development could consider adding interactive features and varying content to enhance the learning experience.
