Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kinerja PKBM Arafah Kota Depok sebagai satuan pendidikan nonformal berdasarkan standar nasional pendidikan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif, yang bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran secara detail dan mendalam mengenai kinerja PKBM Arafah secara menyeluruh. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dengan tujuh informan, yaitu Kepala PKBM, tutor, dan peserta didik, serta melalui observasi langsung dan dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh kemudian diolah melalui proses reduksi data, pengodean, triangulasi, analisis, dan interpretasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja PKBM Arafah dinilai baik, didukung oleh tenaga pendidik yang kompeten dan berpengalaman serta fasilitas yang memadai. Program kesetaraan Paket A, B, dan C yang diselenggarakan relevan dengan kebutuhan masyarakat dan berhasil menghasilkan lulusan yang mandiri dan kompeten. Pengelolaan yang tertata dan transparan menunjukkan akuntabilitas lembaga, terutama sebagai penerima bantuan dana BOS dari pemerintah. Meskipun terdapat kekurangan dalam kurikulum, bahan ajar, dan materi pembelajaran, PKBM Arafah terus berupaya memenuhi standar pendidikan melalui penilaian mandiri oleh pengurus dan tutor. ***** This study aims to determine the performance of PKBM Arafah Depok City as a non-formal education unit based on national education standards. The research method used is qualitative descriptive, which aims to provide a detailed and in-depth picture of the overall performance of PKBM Arafah. Data was collected through interviews with seven informants, namely the Chairman of PKBM, tutors, and students, as well as through direct observation and documentation. The data obtained is then processed through the process of data reduction, coding, triangulation, analysis, and interpretation. The results of the study show that the performance of PKBM Arafah is considered good, supported by competent and experienced educators and adequate facilities. The Package A, B, and C equivalency programs held are relevant to the needs of the community and have succeeded in producing independent and competent graduates. Organized and transparent management shows institutional accountability, especially as a recipient of BOS funds from the government. Despite the lack of curriculum, teaching materials, and learning materials, PKBM Arafah continues to strive to meet educational standards through self-assessment by administrators and tutors.
