Abstract

Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Kemendikbud) Republik Indonesia memberlakukan kebijakan Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh (PJJ) untuk memutus penyebaran dan penularan Covid-19 di Indonesia. PJJ dapat dilaksanakan dalam jaringan (daring) maupun luar jaringan (luring). Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Mandarin Universitas Negeri Jakarta (PSPBM UNJ) telah melaksanakan PJJ daring sejak Maret 2020. Salah satu yang harus diperhatikan saat PJJ daring adalah motivasi belajar mahasiswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan motivasi intrinsik belajar mahasiswa PSPBM UNJ selama pelaksanaan PJJ daring mata kuliah menyimak bahasa Mandarin. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan 7 indikator motivasi intrinsik yang dikembangkan oleh Fitriyani, Fauzi dan Sari. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dengan skala likert dan disampaikan kepada responden menggunakan Google Form. Responden berjumlah 52 mahasiswa peserta mata kuliah Menyimak Bahasa Mandarin dasar I-IV pada semester 113-114 di PSPBM UNJ. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) mayoritas mahasiswa dapat berkonsentrasi saat perkuliahan berlangsung; (2) mayoritas mahasiswa memiliki rasa ingin tahu terhadap materi yang akan disampaikan saat perkuliahan berlangsung; (3) mayoritas mahasiswa memiliki semangat saat mengikuti perkuliahan; (4) mayoritas mahasiswa memiliki rasa kemandirian belajar; (5) mayoritas mahasiswa lebih mempersiapkan mental dengan baik dibandingkan kondisi fisik; (6) mayoritas mahasiswa memiliki sikap pantang menyerah melatih membedakan ujaran atau wacana lisan bahasa Mandarin; dan (7) mayoritas mahasiswa memiliki kepercayaan diri selama mengikuti perkuliahan. *********************************************************** The Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemendikbud) has implemented a Distance Learning (PJJ) to stop the spread and transmission of Covid-19 in Indonesia. PJJ can be implemented in the network (online) or outside the network (offline). Since March 2020 Department of Chinese Language Education State University of Jakarta (PSPBM UNJ) has been implements online distance learning. One thing that must be considered when online distance learning is student learning motivation. The purpose of this study was to describe the intrinsic motivation of Department of Chinese Language Education during online distance learning of the Chinese listening course. This study adopts a qualitative descriptive approach referring to 7 indicators of intrinsic motivation developed by Fitriyani, Fauzi and Sari. The data collection technique in this study adopted a survey method with a Likert scale and distributed to respondents using Google Form. The respondents are 52 people, all of whom were participants in the Basic Listening level I-IV in semesters 113-114 at PSPBM UNJ. The result of the study show: (1) the majority of students were able to concentrate during lectures; (2) the majority of students are curious about the material that will be delivered during lecture; (3) the majority of students have enthusiasm when attending lectures; (4) the majority of students have sense of independence in learning; (5) the majority of students are better prepared mentally than physically; (6) the majority of students have a persistent attitude in practicing differentiating speech or spoken Chinese discourse; and (7) the majority of students have confidence during their lectures.
