Abstract
Lingkungan keluarga dapat dikatakan lingkungan terkecil dan terdekat dari manusia. Keluarga merupakan sebuah wadah tempat berkumpulnya ayah, ibu, anak. Dalam lingkungan tersebut banyak diajarkan tentang kejujuran, kebijakan, kebaikan, tanggung jawab, percaya diri, dan emosi. Bila keluarga bisa mejalankan perannya, maka dapat membentuk karakter serta moral seorang anak. Namun, apa bila orang tua tidak mampu menerapkan fungsi keluarga dengan baik maka dapat menimbulkan fenomena seperti kekerasan fisik maupun psikis, dan intimidasi terhadap anak. Berangkat dari fenomena dampak perilaku ayah perupa yang membuat perupa memiliki trauma akibat adanya konflik keluarga, kekerasan dalam rumah tangga terhadap anak, maka timbullah ide gagasan ke dalam karya lukis. Subject matter dalam penciptaan karya ini ialah pengungkapan perasaan emosional negatif perupa yang menimbulkan perasaan kekecewaan, sedih, ingin marah, ingin memberontak, takut, dan ingin bebas. Hal ini dirasakan perupa sejak kecil akibat dampak konflik keluarga khususnya ayah yang tidak dapat mencari nafkah akibat sakit. Karya seni lukis surealis yang dibuat perupa merupakan hasil dari pengalaman pribadi atau diary masalalu mengenai perilaku orang tua perupa seperti kekerasan fisik, pengekangan, percobaan bunuh diri didepan anak, dilarang bermain, dikurung di dalam rumah, umpatan terhadap anaknya yang menimbulkan gejolak emosi perupa yang menyebabkan perasaan rasa takut, cemas, sedih, kecewa, marah, depresi yang cukup berpengaruh untuk kehidupan perupa, dan sebagai latar belakang pengambilan ide dalam mengembangkan karya lukis perupa untuk mengungkapkan isi hati kedalam karya seni lukis. Dalam penciptaan karya seni rupa ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode artistic research (penelitian artistik). Penelitian artistik merupakan metode produksi pengetahuan yang didasarkan pada asumsi bagaimana seniman atau praktisi adalah peneliti yang melakukan penyelidikan terhadap proses dan kerja kreatif yang dialaminya sendiri dalam rangka menghasilkan karya seni (Guntur 2016, 123). Penciptaan karya ini menghasilkan dua buah karya lukis, masing-masing berukuran 100 x 100 cm. Karya ini dibuat menggunakan teknik lukis sapuan kuas, opaque, dan teknik plakat dengan menggunakan pendekatan seni modern dengan gaya surealis. *********************************************************** The family environment can be said to be the smallest and closest environment for humans. Family is a place where father, mother and children gather. In this environment, many people are taught about honesty, wisdom, kindness, responsibility, self-confidence, and emotions. If the family can carry out its role, it can shape the character and morals of a child. However, if parents are not able to implement family functions properly, it can cause phenomena such as physical and psychological violence, and intimidation of children. Departing from the phenomenon of the impact of the behavior of the father of the artist which makes the artist traumatized due to family conflicts, domestic violence against children, ideas arise into paintings. The subject matter in the creation of this work is the expression of the artist's negative emotional feelings that cause feelings of disappointment, sadness, anger, rebellion, fear, and desire to be free. This has been felt by the artist since childhood due to the impact of family conflicts, especially fathers who cannot earn a living due to illness. Surrealist paintings created by the artist are the result of personal experiences or past diaries regarding the behavior of the parents of the artist such as physical violence, restraint, attempted suicide in front of children, prohibited from playing, confined in the house, curses against their children that cause emotional turmoil for the artist which causes feelings of fear, anxiety, sadness, disappointment, anger, depression which are quite influential for the life of the artist, and as a background for taking ideas in developing an artist's painting to express the heart's content into a painting. In the creation of this work of art using a qualitative descriptive approach with the method of artistic research (artistic research). Artistic research is a method of knowledge production that is based on the assumption that an artist or practitioner is a researcher who conducts an investigation into the creative process and work he or she experiences in order to produce a work of art (Guntur 2016, 123). The creation of this work resulted in two paintings, each measuring 100 x 100 cm. This work was created using brushstroke, opaque, and plaque techniques using a modern art approach with a surrealist style.
