Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan mengenai pembinaan peserta didik dalam mewujudkan prestasi non akademik siswa di SMK Negeri 14 Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Informan dalam penelitian ini meliputi: wakil Kepala Sekolah bidang kesiswaan, pembina OSIS/ekstrakurikuler, dan peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori Harold Koontz dan Cyril O’Donnell. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa: (1) Perencanaan kegiatan non akademik di SMK Negeri 14 Jakarta dilakukan dengan sistematis. Sekolah mewajibkan peserta didik untuk mengikuti salah satu ekstrakurikuler. Sekolah juga memberikan buku pedoman tata tertib peserta didik sebagai wadah untuk memantau tata tertib dan catatan prestasi peserta didik. Pembinaan di SMK Negeri 14 Jakarta terlaksana dengan baik. (2) Sekolah melibatkan semua pihak dalam mendukung peserta didik. Koordinasi antar pembina, pelatih, manajemen sekolah, dan peserta didik sangat efisien, sehingga menciptakan suasana di mana peserta didikpeserta didik merasa nyaman dalam berbagi cerita. (3) Pengarahan dimulai dari pengenalan ekstrakurikuler, diikuti dengan LDKS sebagai program wajib, dan pengarahan setiap hari Senin setelah upacara oleh pembina OSIS/ekstrakurikuler. Pembinaan khusus dan pelatihan tambahan diberikan kepada peserta didik yang akan mengikuti kejuaraan/lomba, serta dukungan memberikan izin, informasi lomba, dan sarana prasarana yang memadai. Pengarahan pembinaan dilakukan dengan baik. (4) Sekolah memiliki sistem pengawasan dan pelaporan terstruktur untuk kegiatan ekstrakurikuler. Setiap ekstrakurikuler membuat laporan bulanan yang mencakup materi pelatihan, jumlah kehadiran peserta didik, dan dokumentasi. Pengawasan pembina ekstrakurikuler dilakukan secara berkala untuk mengukur efektivitas dan pengarahan kegiatan. Tata tertib peserta didik tercantum dalam buku pedoman peserta didik. Jenis pelanggaran meliputi kelakuan, kedisiplinan, dan kerapihan, sementara prestasi mencakup prestasi kelas, penghargaan kejuaraan, dan aktivitas pelajar. ************ This study aims to describe coaching of students in improving students' nonacademic achievements at SMK Negeri 14 Jakarta. This study used a qualitative approach and a descriptive method. Data collection techniques are conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Informants in this study included: vice principal in the student field, OSIS/extracurricular coach, and students. This study used the theories of Harold Koontz and Cyril O'Donnell. The results of this study show that: (1) Planning non-academic activities at SMK Negeri 14 Jakarta is carried out systematically. Schools require students to attend one of the extracurriculars. Schools also provide student order manuals as a forum to monitor student order and achievement records. The coaching at SMK Negeri 14 Jakarta was carried out well. (2) Schools involve all parties in supporting students. Coordination between coaches, school management, and students is very efficient, thus creating an atmosphere where students feel comfortable sharing stories. (3) Directing began with the introduction of extracurricular activities, followed by LDKS as a compulsory program, and the briefing every Monday after the ceremony by the OSIS/extracurricular. Special coaching and additional training are provided to students who will participate in the championship, as well as support for providing adequate permits, race information, and adecuate infrastructure. The coaching directing was done well. (4) Schools have a structured monitoring and reporting system for extracurricular activities. Each extracurricular makes a monthly report that includes training materials, the number of attendance of students, and documentation. Extracurricular coaching supervision is carried out periodically to measure the effectiveness and direction of activities. The student's order is listed in the manual. Types of violations include behavior, discipline, and agility, while achievements include class achievements, championship awards, and student activities.
