Abstract
Permasalahan sampah yang terus meningkat sepanjang pandemi menunjukan manusia masih melakukan kegiatan yang hanya menguntungkan dirinya sendiri tanpa menghiraukan alam. Perilaku yang bersifat merusak tersebut dapat diubah melalui proses pendidikan yang meningkatkan perilaku pro lingkungan. Penerapan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning diharapkan dapat memfasilitasi peserta didik untuk memperoleh pengetahuan mengenai masalah lingkungan dan strategi aksi dalam penanganan masalah lingkungan demi meningkatkan perilaku pro lingkungan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning terhadap perilaku pro lingkungan peserta didik SMA pada materi perubahan lingkungan. Metode yang digunakan merupakan kuasi ekperimen dengan menggunakan model Discovery Learning pada kelas kontrol dan model Project Based Learning pada kelas eksperimen. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 54 Jakarta pada November-Juni 2022. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 60 peserta didik yang dipilih secara sample random sampling dengan masing-masing 30 peserta didik pada tiap kelas. Instrumen perilaku pro lingkungan diadaptasi dari Kaiser dan Wilson sebanyak 40 butir pernyataan. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji t dan hasil pengujian menunjukan nilai signifikan, sehingga dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning terhadap perilaku pro lingkungan peserta didik SMA. Oleh sebab itu, model pembelajaran Project Based Learning perlu menjadi pertimbangan untuk meningkatkan perilaku pro lingkungan peserta didik. ***************************************** The waste problem that continues to increase throughout the pandemic shows that humans are still carrying out activities that only benefit themselves without caring about nature. This destructive behavior can be changed through an educational process that increases pro-environmental behavior. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of implementing the Project Based Learning model on the pro-environmental behavior of high school students on the material of environmental change. The method used is a quasi-experimental using the Discovery Learning model in the control class and the Project Based Learning model in the experimental class. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 54 Jakarta in November-June 2022. The research sample consisted of 60 students who were selected by random sampling with 30 students in each class. The pro-environment behavior instrument was adapted from Kasier and Wilson consisted of 40 statements. Data analysis used t test and the test results showed a significance and it can be concluded that there is an effect of using the Project Based Learning model on the pro-environmental behavior of high school students. Therefore, the Project Based Learning model needs to be considered to improve students' pro-environmental behavior.
