Abstract
************************************************** Rapid technological developments can be utilized in the learning process, one of which is by utilizing audio-visual-based learning media in the form of animated videos. Difficulty in understanding parabolic motion material and the lack of supporting media for physics learning became the basis for choosing product development in the form of animated videos. This research is focused on developing an Animation Video for Parabolic Motion based on Problem Based Learning and equipped with PhET Simulation. This study aims to produce a valid learning media in the form of animated videos, so that it can be used to support the physics learning process. The research method used is a research and development method or Research and Development (R&D). The research model used is a 4D model consisting of four stages, namely define, design, development, and disseminate. The instrument of this research is a questionnaire/questionnaire using Likert scale analysis technique with media expert respondents, material experts and learning experts, as well as being tested on educators and students. The animated video is divided into 3 parts by applying the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model. Part 1 contains an explanation and application of the material in everyday life. Part 2, contains a virtual experiment using PhET Simulation. Part 3, contains a discussion of the results of virtual experiments that have been carried out by students. Product assessment by material experts is 72.9%, media experts is 74.3%, learning experts are 100%. The results of the product test validation obtained are in the "Valid" category. Product assessment by educators obtained an average of 98.6% and by students of 92.7%. The product results are categorized as very good media if used in physics learning. So, it can be concluded that the media in the form of animated videos is valid to be used as a supporting medium for learning physics on parabolic motion material.
