Abstract

ZOOM BASED STUDENT TEAM ACIEVEMENT DEVISION METHOD TO IMPROVE THE ABILITY OF READING TEXT DESCRIPTION OF JAPANESE LANGUAGE STUDENTS IN CLASS XI IPS 1 SMA NEGERI 8 TANGERANG SITI NUR ASIAH ABSTRACT This study aims no describe the ability to road comprehension of Japannese descriptive text in class XI IPS 1 at SMA Negeri 8 Tangerang in the academic year 2020/2021 the students reading comprehension ability is described by means of the average score at the level of factual, innovative and applicable understanding. This type of research is classroom acyion research, where the suvject of this study were 20 students of class XI IPS 1 At SMA Negeri 8 Tangerang. This data collection techniquw is test of reading comprehension The results showed that the ability to read the comprehension of the descriptive text in Japanese class XI IPS 1 SMA Negeri 8 Tangerang at the begiing of taking the initial score was classified as low, namely an averageof 65.05. The averge value is still low below the minimum completeness value of 75. Then after conducting research using the zoom-based STAD method, student learning outcomes experienced an increase in te first action in cycle 1, with a classs average value of 74,85. After that the class average score in the second cycle also increased, with a class average of 78,6. The oom-based Student Team Achievement Devision ( STAD ) method is starting to be accepted by students. This method can improve student learning outcomes in reading comprehension. The conclusion of this research is that reading Japanese text comprehension using the zoom-based STAD method is able to improve student learning outcomes in reading Japanese descriptive text comprehension from pre-cycle.
