Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki dua tujuan, pertama untuk mendeskripsikan adaptasi pelaksanaan kurikulum merdeka di SMAN 72 Jakarta. Kedua untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan pembelajaran sosiologi dalam Kurikulum Merdeka yang telah dilaksanakan selama 2 tahun oleh sekolah SMAN 72 Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data penelitian diproleh melalui observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara mendalam dengan guru dan siswa. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri 1 guru sosiologi, 1 Wakasek bidang kurikulum, 1 Wakasek bidang sarana dan prasarana, 3 siswa. Dengan triangulasi data 1 guru sosiologi SMAN 2 Cibinong, Kab. Bogor. Lokasi penelitian di SMAN 72 Jakarta. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di SMAN 72 Jakarta diterapkan secara bertahap, pada tahun pertama menggunakan Kurikulum Merdeka Berubah dan tahun ke dua menggunakan Kurikulum Merdeka Berbagi. Kurikulum dilaksanakan melalui kegiatan intrakurikuler dan projek penguatan profil Pancasila. Dalam penelitian ini pendekatan Kurikulum Merdeka diterapkan pada pembelajaran sosiologi dimana menggunakan model pengajaran berbasis discovery learning dengan melakukan penelitian sosial. Hasilnya peserta didik mampu melakukan penelitian sosial berorientasi pada pemecahan masalah, mengomunikasikan hasil penelitiannya dan pengembangan kompetensi serta kemampuan HOTS siswa. Ditemukan juga tantangan yang dihadapi oleh siswa yaitu mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami materi secara mendalam karena kurangnya arahan yang diberikan oleh guru. ***** This study has two objectives, first to describe the adaptation of the implementation of an independent curriculum at SMAN 72 Jakarta. Second, to describe the implementation of sociology learning in the Merdeka Curriculum which has been implemented for 2 years by the SMAN 72 Jakarta school. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Research data were obtained through observation, documentation, and in-depth interviews with teachers and students. The subjects of this study consisted of 1 sociology teacher, 1 Deputy Head of Curriculum, 1 Deputy Head of Facilities and Infrastructure, 3 students. With data triangulation 1 sociology teacher of SMAN 2 Cibinong, Bogor Regency. The research location is SMAN 72 Jakarta. The results obtained from this study are that the implementation of Merdeka Curriculum at SMAN 72 Jakarta is implemented in stages, in the first year using Merdeka Berubah Curriculum and the second year using Merdeka Berbagi Curriculum. The curriculum is implemented through intracurricular activities and projects to strengthen the profile of Pancasila. In this study, the Merdeka Curriculum approach is applied to sociology learning which uses a discovery learning-based teaching model by conducting social research. As a result, students are able to conduct problem-solving-oriented social research, communicate the results of their research and develop students' competencies and HOTS abilities. There were also challenges faced by students, namely having difficulty in understanding the material in depth due to the lack of direction provided by the teacher.
