Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) mendeskripsikan mengenai implementasi pendidikan Karakter melalui kegiatan pembiasaan yang dapat menanamkan atau membentuk kedisiplinan khususnya pada siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar, 2) mendeskripsikan faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam implementasi pendidikan karakter dalam membentuk kedisiplinan siswa kelas V SDIT Abdurrahman Bin Auf. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang dilakukan melalui tiga langkah yaitu reduksi data (data reduction), penyajian data (display data), dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian serta analisis yang telah dilakukan, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa implementasi pendidikan karakter dalam membentuk kedisiplinan siswa kelas V di SDIT Abdurrahman Bin Auf melalui kegiatan pembiasaan di sekolah. Adapun faktor pendukungnya meliputi: kesadaran dari dalam diri siswa, guru sebagai teladan atau contoh yang baik, dan peraturan sekolah. Sedangkan faktor penghambatnya antara lain: minimnya perhatian orangtua, dan lingkungan sekitar atau pergaulan siswa. ***** This study aims to 1) describe the implementation of Character education through habituation activities that can instill or form discipline, especially in fifth grade students of Elementary School, 2) describe the supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of character education in forming the discipline of fifth grade students of SDIT Abdurrahman Bin Auf. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection uses observation, interview, and documentation methods. While the data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman model which is carried out through three steps, namely data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the research and analysis that have been carried out, it can be concluded that the implementation of character education in forming the discipline of fifth grade students at SDIT Abdurrahman Bin Auf through habituation activities at school. The supporting factors include: awareness from within the students, teachers as good role models or examples, and school regulations. While the inhibiting factors include: lack of parental attention, and the surrounding environment or student relationships.
