Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatan kemampuan mengenal nilai uang melalui kegiatan real experience bagi peserta didik hambatan intelektual ringan kelas IV di SLB C Mawar Putih Jakarta Utara. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan desain penelitian model spiral Kemmis dan Taggart berupa perencanaan, tindakan dan pengamatan, serta refleksi. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua siklus. Subjek penelitian yaitu 5 peserta didik hambatan intelektual ringan kelas IV SDLB. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan instrumen tes unjuk kerja dan lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada siklus II peserta didik mengalami peningkatan rata-rata persentase kemampuan sebesar 23,8% sehingga rata-rata persentase kemampuan menjadi 74,2% melebihi persentase yang diharapkan (60%). Hal ini didukung oleh data meningkatnya kemampuan lima orang peserta didik dapat menyebutkan dan menunjukkan nilai uang Rp1.000 sampai maksimal Rp20.000. Semua peserta didik dapat menggunakan uang untuk belanja secara mandiri di warung/toko. Dengan demikian kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah kegiatan real experience dapat meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal nilai uang bagi peserta didik hambatan intelektual ringan kelas IV di SLB C Mawar Putih Jakarta Utara. ***** Abstract: This study aims to improve the ability to recognize the value of money through real experience activities for students with mild intellectual disabilities in grade IV at SLB C Mawar Putih Jakarta Utara. This type of research is classroom action research with a Kemmis and Taggart spiral model research design in the form of planning, action and observation, and reflection. This study consists of two cycles. The subjects of the study were 5 students with mild intellectual disabilities in grade IV SDLB. Data collection was carried out using performance test instruments and observation sheets. The results of the study showed that in cycle II students experienced an average increase in ability percentage of 23.8% so that the average ability percentage became 74.2% exceeding the expected percentage (60%). This is supported by data on the increase in the ability of five students to mention and show the value of money from Rp1,000 to a maximum of Rp20,000. All students can use money to shop independently at stalls/shops. Thus, the conclusion of this study is that real experience activities can improve the ability to recognize the value of money for students with mild intellectual disabilities in grade IV at SLB C Mawar Putih, Jakarta Utara.
