Abstract

ABSTRAK Nur Alisa. Praktik Sosial Komunitas Keagamaan (Studi Kasus: Komunitas The Mulkians di Kota Bogor), Skripsi. Jakarta: Program Studi Pendidikan Sosiologi, Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Hukum, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, 2025. Penelitian ini memiliki tiga tujuan utama. Pertama, untuk mendeskripsikan latar belakang terbentuknya Komunitas The Mulkians. Kedua, Untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk praktik sosial keagamaan Komunitas The Mulkians. Ketiga, Untuk mendeskripsikan kontestasi modal Komunitas The Mulkians pada media sosial Instagram untuk mencapai posisi dominan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan metode studi kasus. Penelitian ini dilakukan di lokasi Masjid Malikal Mulki sejak bulan Februari hingga September 2024. Data penelitian ini diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dokumentasi, dan studi literatur. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari 9 informan utama dan 2 informan triangulasi data. Hasil temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa latar belakang terbentuknya Komunitas The Mulkians karena pendiri komunitas Ustadz Taqy Malik mengubah fokus hidupnya kembali mendekatkan diri kepada Al-Qur’an. Temuan selanjutnya bahwa bentuk praktik yang dilakukan terdiri dari bentuk praktik ritual keagamaan, praktik kegiatan sosial, praktik muamalah, dan praktik hiburan. Terakhir, dalam penelitian ini ditemukan adanya praktik sosial dan kontestasi yang dilakukan oleh Komunitas The Mulkians. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Komunitas The Mulkians membangun identitas mereka yang tercermin dalam habitus komunitas. Dalam temuan menunjukkan bahwa modal kultural dan modal sosial sebagai modal dominan yang memperkuat posisi dominan komunitas terutama di ranah media sosial Instagram. Dalam kontestasi ini, strategi unik juga diterapkan oleh komunitas agar membedakan mereka dari komunitas dakwah lainnya. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya distingsi pada Komunitas The Mulkians, yang berfokus pada kebersamaan, kepedulian sosial, dan spiritualitas, menciptakan branding yang kuat dan membentuk identitas komunitas yang solid. Jakarta: Sociology Education Study Program, Faculty of Social Sciences and Law, Jakarta State University, 2025. This study has three main objectives. First, to describe the background of the formation of The Mulkians Community. Second, to describe the form of religious social practices of The Mulkians Community. Third, to describe the contestation of The Mulkians Community's capital on Instagram social media to achieve a dominant position. This study uses a qualitative approach, with a case study method. This research was conducted at the Malikal Mulki Mosque from February to September 2024. The data for this study were obtained through observation, in-depth interviews, documentation, and literature studies. The subjects of this study consisted of 9 main informants and 2 data triangulation informants. The findings indicate that the background of the formation of Komunitas The Mulkians was because the founder of the community that Ustadz Taqy Malik, changed the focus of his life to return to the Qur'an. The next finding is that the forms of practice carried out consist of religious ritual practices, social activity practices, muamalah practices, and entertainment practices. Finally, this study found social practices and contestations carried out by Komunitas The Mulkians. This study shows that Komunitas The Mulkians builds their identity which is reflected in the community's habitus. The findings show that cultural capital and social capital are the dominant capital that strengthens the dominant position of the community, especially in the realm of Instagram social media. In this contestation, unique strategies are also applied by the community to distinguish them from other da'wah communities. This study shows that there is a distinction in Komunitas The Mulkians, which focuses on togetherness, social concern and spirituality, creating strong branding and forming a solid community identity.
