Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis struktur pembangun cerita dalam novel KdAB karangan Kuntowijoyo. Selanjutnya, peneliti menganalisis eksistensi tokoh utama dalam novel KdAB karangan Kuntowijoyo. Analisis eksistensi tokoh utama meliputi, aspek Umwelt pada tokoh utama, aspek Mitwelt pada tokoh utama, dan aspek Eigenwelt pada tokoh utama. Kemudian, peneliti menginterpretasikan eksistensi tokoh utama dalam novel KdAB karangan Kuntowijoyo dengan tinjauan psikologi sastra. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskripsi kualitatif. Dari hasil analisis eksistensi tokoh Barman, ditemukan 27 data mengenai aspek ada-pada-dunia-objek (umwelt), 23 data mengenai ada-pada-manusia-lain (mitwelt), dan 25 data mengenai ada-pada-dirinya (eigenwelt). Dorongan biologis serta keberadaan maupun ketidakberadaan Barman di tengah alam merupakan eksistensi pada aspek ada-pada-dunia-objek (umwelt). Pada aspek ada-pada-manusia-lain (mitwelt) ditemukan interaksi manusiawi Barman bergantung pada tiga faktor, yaitu dorongan naluri, keputusan pribadinya dan komitmen pada orang lain. Pada aspek ada-pada-dirinya (eigenwelt), keterasingan atas keberadaannya, merasakan, memikirkan dirinya, dan miliki kesadaran bahwa ia ada termasuk pada aspek eigenwelt. Kata kunci: eksistensi, ada-pada-dunia-objek (umwelt), ada-pada-manusia-lain (mitwelt), dan ada-pada-dirinya (eigenwelt). This study aims to describe and analyze the structure of story builders in Kuntowijoyo’s novel Khotbah di Atas Bukit. The researcher analyzes the existence of the main character in the novel. Analysis of the existence of the main characters include, aspects of Umwelt in the main character, Mitwelt aspects in the main character, and Eigenwelt aspects in the main character. Then, the researcher interprets the existence of the main character in the Kuntowijooyo’s novel Sermon on the Hill (Khotbah di Atas Bukit): psychology of literature review. This study uses a qualitative description method. From the results of the analysis of the existence of Barman, 27 data were found about the aspect of existent in the world of objects (umwelt), 23 data on existent in another human beings (mitwelt), and 25 data on existent in themselves (eigenwelt). Biological impulse as well as involving and non-existence of Barman in the middle is an existence in the aspect of existentworld of object (umwelt). On the other existent with another human beings aspect (mitwelt) it is found that Barman's human interaction depends on three factors, namely strengthening instincts, personal decisions and commitment to others. In the existent in themselves aspect (eigenwelt), alienation from consideration, enjoyment, approval, and awareness about it exists in the aspect of eigenwelt. Keywords: existence, being-in-the-world-objects (umwelt), being-in-other humans (mitwelt), and being-in-themselves (eigenwelt).
