Abstract

Penelitian kajian pustaka atau studi literatur bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan mengkaji lebih dalam lingkungan sekolah yang berperan dalam membentuk karakter kebhinekaan global siswa sekolah dasar. Permasalahan saat ini adanya kasus intoleransi dan diskriminasi yang terjadi disejumlah daerah. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mencari referensi pada karya ilmiah yang telah ada sebelumnya atau melalui kajian studi pustaka. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Dengan model analisis Miles, Huberman, dan Saldana (2014). Terdapat empat tahapan yang dilakukan dalam kajian studi literatur ini yaitu pengumpulan data, kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu dengan mengolah sumber-sumber referensi melalui hasil penelitian yang telah dibuat oleh peneliti-peneliti sebelumnya lalu mengolah sumber referensi tersebut untuk mendapatkan jawaban dari rumusan masalah yang telah dibuat. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat peran lingkungan sekolah yang dapat membentuk karakter kebhinekaan global siswa sekolah dasar. Lingkungan sekolah, meliputi lingkungan fisik, lingkungan sosial dan lingkungan akademis memiliki peran dalam pembentukan karakter pada elemen-elemen kebhinekaan global yaitu pemahaman dan penghargaan terhadap beragam budaya, kemampuan komunikasi yang efektif dalam interaksi lintas budaya dan refleksi dan tanggung jawab terhadap pengalaman kebhinekaan global. ***** This literature review research to describe and examine factors in the school environment that play a role in shaping the global diversity character of elementary school students. The problem that occurs is that there are still cases of intolerance and discrimination that occur in a number of regions. This research was carried out by looking for references in previously existing scientific works or through literature review. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative research method. With the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana (2014) analysis model. There are four stages carried out in this literature study, namely data collection, data condensation, data display, and conclusions/verifying. The data collection technique is to process reference sources through research results that have been made by previous researchers and then process these reference sources to get answers to the problem formulation that has been created. The research results show that there is a role of the school environment that can shape the global diversity character of elementary school students. The school environment, including the physical environment, social environment and academic environment, has a role in forming attitudes towards elements of global diversity, namely understanding and respect for various cultures, effective communication skills in cross-cultural interactions and reflection and responsibility for the experience of global diversity.
