Abstract

Dinamika konflik agama di Indonesia menunjukkan beberapa pola yang mengkhawatirkan. Pada era masifnya internet, pembahasan seputar keberagaman agama dikemas dalam bentuk yang menarik, salah satunya dalam podcast. Podcast LOGIN di kanal Youtube Deddy Corbuzier menyajikan konten dengan mengundang enam pemuka agama dan membahas topik seputar toleransi antaragama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh terpaan media pada podcast LOGIN di Youtube Deddy Corbuzier episode “Enam Pemuka Agama” tanggal 9 april 2024 terhadap sikap menjaga toleransi mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Agama Islam Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Hukum Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori media baru atau new media yang dikemukakan oleh Pierre Levy yang berkaitan dengan perkembangan media dan teknologi. Pada teori ini, terdapat dua pandangan, yaitu interaksi sosial dan integrasi sosial. Variabel dalam penelitian ini adalah variabel terpaan media dengan indikator terpaan, perhatian, dan tahapan terpaan serta variabel sikap dengan indikator penuh upaya, relatif bertahan lama, dan penilaian. Paradigma yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah paradigma positivisme dengan metode survei. Metode sampling yang digunakan adalah metode non-probability sampling dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan 76 sampel, dengan kriteria khusus, yaitu mahasiswa aktif Pendidikan Agama Islam Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Hukum Universitas Negeri Jakarta Angkatan 2021-2023 yang mengetahui dan menonton podcast LOGIN episode “Enam Pemuka Agama” di Youtube Deddy Corbuzier tanggal 9 April 2024. Metode pengolahan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah distribusi frekuensi untuk analisis univariate dan regresi linier sederhana untuk analisis bivariate. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terpaan media pada podcast LOGIN di Youtube Deddy Corbuzier episode “Enam Pemuka Agama” tanggal 9 April 2024 mengenai tahapan terpaan memberikan keterhubungan yang positif kepada responden dan sikap menjaga toleransi dalam segi penilaian. Responden menonton podcast tersebut, mengingat topik pembahasannya, kemudian memikirkan kembali pembahasan dalam podcast dalam aktivitas sehari-hari kemudian menilai isi konten podcast, meyakini bahwa podcast tersebut merupakan media yang berpotensi mendidik dan menginspirasi, serta tingkah lakunya dalam hal pengambilan keputusan dipicu oleh isi pembahasan podcast tersebut. Hal ini didukung dari pengukuran nilai distribusi frekuensi dan nilai rata-rata. Kemudian, terdapat pengaruh yang positif antara terpaan media pada podcast LOGIN di Youtube Deddy Corbuzier episode “Enam Pemuka Agama” tanggal 9 April 2024 terhadap sikap menjaga toleransi mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Agama Islam Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Hukum Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Hal ini didukung berdasarkan hasil uji regresi linier sederhana juga terdapat hasil uji hipotesis bahwa H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menyatakan terpaan media pada podcast LOGIN di Youtube Deddy Corbuzier terbukti memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap sikap menjaga toleransi mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Agama Islam Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Hukum Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Saran untuk pengelola kanal Youtube Deddy Corbuzier memproduksi podcast yang mampu mendorong atensi penonton dengan topik relevan dan segar. ***** The dynamics of religious conflict in Indonesia show some worrying patterns. In the era of massive internet, discussions about religious diversity are packaged in an interesting form, one of which is in a podcast. The LOGIN podcast on Deddy Corbuzier's Youtube channel presents content by inviting six religious leaders and discussing topics around interfaith tolerance. This study aims to determine the effect of media exposure on the LOGIN podcast on Deddy Corbuzier's Youtube episode "Enam Pemuka Agama" on April 9, 2024 on the attitude of maintaining tolerance of students of the Islamic Religious Education Study Program, Faculty of Social Sciences and Law, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. This study uses the theory of new media or new media proposed by Pierre Levy which is related to the development of media and technology. In this theory, there are two views, namely social interaction and social integration. The variables in this study are media exposure variables with indicators of exposure, attention, and stages of exposure and attitude variables with indicators of full effort, relatively long-lasting, and assessment. The paradigm used in this study is the positivist paradigm with a survey method. The sampling method used is the non-probability sampling method using a purposive sampling technique with 76 samples, with special criteria, namely active students of Islamic Religious Education, Faculty of Social Science and Law, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, Class of 2021-2023 who know and watched the LOGIN podcast episode "Enam Pemuka Agama" on Deddy Corbuzier's Youtube on April 9, 2024. The data processing method used in this study is frequency distribution for univariate analysis and simple linear regression for bivariate analysis. The results of the study indicate that media exposure on the LOGIN podcast on Deddy Corbuzier's Youtube regarding the stages of exposure provides a positive connection to respondents and an attitude of maintaining tolerance in terms of assessment. Respondents watched the podcast, remembered the topic of discussion, then thought back to the discussion in the podcast in their daily activities, then assessed the content of the podcast, believed that the podcast was a potentially educational and inspiring medium, and their behavior in terms of decision-making was triggered by the content of the podcast discussion. This is supported by the measurement of frequency distribution values and average values. Then, there is a positive influence between media exposure on the LOGIN podcast on Deddy Corbuzier's Youtube on the attitude of maintaining tolerance of students of the Islamic Religious Education Study Program, Faculty of Social Science and Law, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. This is supported by the results of a simple linear regression test, there are also results of a hypothesis test that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. The conclusion of this study states that media exposure on the LOGIN podcast on Deddy Corbuzier's Youtube has proven to have a positive and significant influence on the attitude of maintaining tolerance of students of the Islamic Religious Education Study Program, Faculty of Social Science and Law, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Suggestions for managers of the Deddy Corbuzier Youtube channel to produce podcasts that are able to encourage audience attention with relevant and fresh topics.
