Abstract
Penelitian ini mengevaluasi Program Sekolah Guru Kebinekaan yang diselenggarakan Yayasan Cahaya Guru, bertujuan meningkatkan kapasitas guru dalam menginternalisasi nilai-nilai keragaman dan kebinekaan, seperti toleransi dan penghormatan atas hak kebebasan beragama dalam konteks pendidikan. Penelitian ini mengikuti model evaluasi Countenance Evaluation Model yang dikembangkan oleh R.E. Stake atau lebih dikenal dengan istilah Stake’s Countenance Model. Model evaluasi ini mengutamakan dua poin, yaitu decription dan judgment. Kedua point ini kemudian dibedakan ke dalam tiga fase: (1) Masukan (antecedents) yaitu evaluasi yang berisi tentang analisis persoalan yang berhubungan dengan kondisi apa yang ada sebelum program diimplementasikan dan berbagai faktor yang akan memengaruhi proses implementasi program. (2) Proses (transactions) yaitu evaluasi yang dirancang untuk melihat bagaimana suatu program diimplementasikan. (3) Hasil (outcomes) yaitu evaluasi yang dilakukan untuk mengukur keberhasilan pencapaian tujuan yang telah ditetapkan. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa program ini telah berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesadaran guru terhadap nilai-nilai keragaman dan kebinekaan. Peningkatan skor pada kategori toleransi, penghargaan terhadap perbedaan, dan keterbukaan terhadap budaya lain menunjukkan perubahan sikap yang positif di kalangan peserta. Namun, masih terdapat ruang untuk perbaikan, terutama dalam hal pemahaman yang belum sepenuhnya tercapai dan optimalisasi pelaksanaan program. Penelitian ini memberikan dua kategori rekomendasi utama. Bagi penyelenggara program, direkomendasikan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas sumber daya melalui pelatihan yang lebih komprehensif, melakukan evaluasi berkala untuk perbaikan berkelanjutan, dan mengembangkan materi pelatihan yang lebih interaktif dan kontekstual. Bagi akademisi, direkomendasikan untuk melakukan penelitian lanjutan guna mengevaluasi dampak jangka panjang program dan mengembangkan model evaluasi yang lebih komprehensif. Kata Kunci: Program Sekolah Guru Kebinekaan, Countenance Evaluation Model.********************This study evaluates the Diversity Teacher School Program organized by the Cahaya Guru Foundation, which aims to enhance teachers’ capacity to internalize values of diversity and inclusiveness, such as tolerance, respect for differences, and the right to freedom of religion within the educational context. The program is designed to strengthen humanitarian principles in education and address the challenges of intolerance that still frequently occur in educational environments. The study follows the Countenance Evaluation Model developed by R.E. Stake, also known as Stake’s Countenance Model. This evaluation model emphasizes two main points: description and judgment. These points are further divided into three phases: (1) Antecedents, which involve evaluating the conditions and factors present before the program’s implementation that may affect the implementation process; (2) Transactions, which involve evaluating how the program is implemented; and (3) Outcomes, which involve evaluating the success in achieving the program’s established goals. The evaluation results indicate that the program has successfully increased teachers’ understanding and awareness of the values of diversity and inclusiveness. The increase in scores in categories such as tolerance, respect for differences, and openness to other cultures demonstrates a positive change in participants’ attitudes. However, there is still room for improvement, particularly in areas where understanding has not been fully achieved and in optimizing program implementation. This study provides two main categories of recommendations. For program organizers, it is recommended to enhance resource capacity through more comprehensive training, conduct regular evaluations for continuous improvement, and develop more interactive and contextual training materials. For academics, it is recommended to conduct further research to evaluate the long-term impact of the program and to develop a more comprehensive evaluation model.
