Abstract

Aplikasi Youtube merupakan aplikasi yang digemari oleh anak usia dini karena menyediakan audio visual yang menarik. Sehingga orang tua memegang peranan penting untuk terlibat dalam penggunaan aplikasi Youtube agar dapat memanfaatkannya dengan baik untuk menstimulasi anak. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini untuk mengetahui signifikansi hubungan antara keterlibatan orang tua dalam penggunaan aplikasi Youtube dengan keterampilan berbicara anak usia 5-6 tahun. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan studi penelitian korelasional dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 59 responden dari satuan PAUD di Kelurahan Kenari. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner dengan skala likert. Hasil dalam penelitian ini memperoleh hasil thitung (5,247) dengan ttabel (1,671) yang dapat diartikan perolehan hasil thitung> ttabel, maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, sehingga hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara keterlibatan orang tua dalam penggunaan aplikasi Youtube dengan keterampilan berbicara anak usia 5-6 tahun.Aplikasi Youtube merupakan aplikasi yang sangat digemari anak usia dini maka dari itu orang tua perlu terlibat didalamnya, orang tua perlu melakukan interaksi dengan anak, orang tua perlu memilih konten yang sesuai dengan perkembangan anak, serta orang tua perlu mendukung kegiatan menonton anak agar anak dapat menonton dengan nyaman. ***** Youtube application is an application that is favored by early childhood because it provides interesting audio visuals. So that parents play an important role to be involved in using the YouTube application so that they can make good use of it to stimulate children. The purpose of this study was to determine the significance of the relationship between parental involvement in the use of the Youtube application and the speaking skills of children aged 5-6 years. This study used a quantitative method with a correlational research study with a sample size of 59 respondents from PAUD units in Kenari Village. The research instrument used a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The results in this study obtained the results of tcount (5.247) with ttable (1.671) which can be interpreted as the acquisition of the results of tcount > ttable, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, so this shows that there is a significant relationship between parental involvement in the use of Youtube application with speaking skills of children aged 5-6 years. Youtube application is an application that is very popular with early childhood, therefore parents need to be involved in it, parents need to interact with children, parents need to choose content that is in accordance with child development, and parents need to support children's viewing activities so that children can watch comfortably.
