Abstract

Manajemen strategis merupakan keseluruhan satuan manajemen yang luas dan bersifat jangka panjang dan terintegrasi dengan semua sumber daya yang dimiliki untuk mencapai keunggulan kompetitif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perencanaan, pembuatan, penerapan, dan evaluasi strategi pengembangan kompetensi siswa SMKN 5 Jakarta Timur dalam menghadapi Dunia Usaha dan Industry (DUDI). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Adapun sumber data dipilih secara purposive dan snowball sampling. Pengumpulan data penelitiam dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi Analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik analisis kualitatif yang meliputi pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Sedangkan untuk memeriksa keabsahan data, peneliti menggunakan teknik triangulasi yaitu trianggulasi data dan triangulasi metode. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1) Perencanaan pengembangan kompetensi siswa di SMKN 5 Jakarta Timur memuat seluruh proses kegiatan pembelajaran, kegiatan penunjang, dan program kerjasama dengan pihak eksternal yang dilakukan oleh Kepala Sekolah melalui konektivitas para guru, (2) Formulasi strategi SMKN 5 Jakarta Timur meliputi perumusan visi, misi, dan tujuan sekolah, analisis lingkungan internal dan eksternal sekolah hingga memiliki struktur organisasi yang ideal, (3) Implementasi strategi berupa meningkatkan kompetensi tenaga pendidik melalui adanya program beasiswa studi lanjut bagi guru yang memenuhi kriteria, dan (4) Evaluasi strategi SMKN 5 Jakarta Timur dilakukan secara periodik setiap tiga bulan (program tengah semester), enam bulan (program akhir semester), dan juga menjelang tahun ajaran baru. Selebihnya, evaluasi juga akan dilakukan menyesuaikan pada situasi, kondisi, dan urgensi. This research aims to describes the planning, creation, implementation and evaluation of competency development strategies for SMKN 5 students East Jakarta in facing the World of Business and Industry (DUDI). This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The data sources were selected purposively and snowball sampling. Data collection Research was carried out through interviews, observation and documentation studies. Data analysis was carried out using analytical techniques qualitative which includes data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Whereas for To check the validity of the data, researchers used triangulation techniques, namely data triangulation and method triangulation. Results pResearch shows that: (1) The planning for student competency development at SMKN 5 East Jakarta includes the entire process of learning activities, supporting activities, and collaboration programs with external parties carried out by the Principal through teacher connectivity, (2) Strategy formulation for SMKN 5 East Jakarta includes formulation school vision, mission and goals, analysis of the school's internal and external environment to have ideal organizational structure, (3) Implementation of strategies in the form of increasing the competency of teaching staff through a scholarship program for further studies for teachers who meet the criteria, and (4) Evaluation of the strategy of SMKN 5 East Jakarta is carried out periodically every three months (mid-semester program), six month (end of semester program), and also before the new academic year. Moreover, evaluations will also be carried out according to the situation, conditions and urgency.
