Abstract

Rendahnya implementasi model International Entrepreneurship University (IEUP) di Indonesia menjadi tantangan utama dalam meningkatkan daya saing global perguruan tinggi, khususnya Lembaga Pendidikan Tenaga Kependidikan (LPTK). Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan model pengelola IEUP yang adaptif dan aplikatif untuk mendukung kinerja universitas berbasis kewirausahaan internasional. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik survei kepada akademisi Universitas Negeri Surabaya (UNESA) sebagai studi kasus, yang dilanjutkan dengan analisis Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). Penelitian ini menguji pengaruh langsung dan tidak langsung antara Entrepreneurial Academic dan Entrepreneurial Competencies terhadap International Entrepreneurship University Performance dengan mediasi Entrepreneurial Resilience. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketiga variabel eksogen secara signifikan memengaruhi kinerja IEUP, baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung melalui mediasi Entrepreneurial Resilience. Temuan ini menghasilkan model konseptual yang membantu kita untuk memahami suatu fenomena secara lebih mendalam, instrumen pengukuran yang reliabel, serta bestpractice pengelolaan IEUP di lingkungan perguruan tinggi. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya integrasi budaya akademik yang mendukung kewirausahaan, serta penguatan kompetensi kewirausahaan sebagai fondasi pengembangan IEUP. Implikasi dari studi ini mencakup penyusunan strategi manajerial universitas berbasis kolaborasi Penta Helix, penguatan kapasitas sumber daya manusia akademik, serta penerapan kurikulum berbasis kewirausahaan dan internasionalisasi. Model yang dikembangkan diharapkan dapat diadopsi secara lebih luas oleh perguruan tinggi lain di Indonesia dalam meningkatkan daya saing dan kontribusi mereka terhadap ekonomi berbasis pengetahuan. Kata kunci: Entrepreneurial Academic, Entrepreneurial Competencies, Entrepreneurial Resilience, Entrepreneurial University, Internasional Entrepreneurship Performance.*************The low implementation of the International Entrepreneurship University (IEUP) model in Indonesia is a major challenge in improving the global competitiveness of higher education institutions, particularly Teacher Training Institutions (LPTK). This study aims to develop an adaptive and applicable IEUP management model to support the performance of universities based on international entrepreneurship. The method used is a quantitative approach with a survey technique targeting academics at Surabaya State University (UNESA) as a case study, followed by Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) analysis. This study examines the direct and indirect effects of Entrepreneurial Academic and Entrepreneurial Competencies on International Entrepreneurship University Performance, mediated by Entrepreneurial Resilience. The results indicate that all three exogenous variables significantly influence IEUP performance, both directly and indirectly through the mediation of Entrepreneurial Resilience. These findings yield a conceptual model that helps us understand the phenomenon more deeply, reliable measurement instruments, and best practices for managing IEUP in a university environment. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of integrating an academic culture that supports entrepreneurship and strengthening entrepreneurial competencies as the foundation for developing IEUP. The implications of this study include the development of university management strategies based on Penta Helix collaboration, strengthening the capacity of academic human resources, and implementing entrepreneurship-based curricula and internationalization. The developed model is expected to be widely adopted by other universities in Indonesia to enhance their competitiveness and contributions to the knowledge-based economy.
