Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran self control sebagai variabel moderasi dalam hubungan antara financial literacy dan fear of missing out terhadap personal financial management. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Populasi terjangkau yang diambil yaitu pada Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Negeri Jakarta yang berjumlah 297 mahasiswa. Adapun pengambilan sampel menggunakan proportionate stratified random sampling sehingga diperoleh sampel sebanyak 171 mahasiswa. Hasil uji persyaratan analisis menunjukkan bahwa data berdistribusi normal dan memiliki hubungan yang linier. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh financial literacy terhadap personal financial management, terdapat pengaruh fear of missing out terhadap personal financial management, tidak terdapat pengaruh financial literacy terhadap personal financial management dengan self control sebagai variabel moderasi, dan terdapat pengaruh fear of missing out terhadap personal financial management dengan self control sebagai variabel moderasi.**** This research aims to determine the role of self-control as a moderating variable in the relationship between financial literacy and fear of missing out on personal financial management. This type of research is quantitative research using survey methods. The reachable population taken is from the Faculty of Economics and Business at Jakarta State University, totaling 297 students. The sampling was conducted using proportionate stratified random sampling, resulting in a sample of 171 students. The results of the analysis requirement tests show that the data is normally distributed and has a linear relationship. The results of this study show that there is an influence of financial literacy on personal financial management, there is an influence of fear of missing out on personal financial management, there is no influence of financial literacy on personal financial management with self-control as a moderating variable, and there is an influence of fear of missing out on personal financial management with self-control as a moderating variable.
