Abstract
Penyandang disabilitas seringkali menghadapi stigma dan diskriminasi karena kurangnya pemahaman masyarakat terhadap disabilitas. Hasil wawancara dengan pendiri dan Ketua Relawan Disabilitas UNJ serta penyebaran kuesioner menunjukkan rendahnya pemahaman dan kesadaran mahasiswa UNJ, sehingga penting untuk mempelajari wawasan disabilitas untuk membantu pemahaman dalam berinteraksi dengan penyandang disabilitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media edukasi wawasan disabilitas berbasis motion graphic dengan model Four-D. Model Four-D terdiri dari empat tahap, yaitu define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah tiga buah motion graphic dengan judul (1) Apa itu Disabilitas?, (2) Hak-Hak Disabilitas, dan (3) Etika Berinteraksi dengan Disabilitas. Hasil validasi kelayakan oleh dua ahli materi didapatkan persentase kelayakan 100% dan menurut dua ahli media didapatkan rata-rata persentase kelayakan 95,5% pada ketiga video motion graphic, serta menurut 70 responden didapatkan rata-rata persentase kelayakan ketiga video sebesar 92,5%. Sehingga disimpulkan, video motion graphic ini dikategorikan “Sangat Layak” untuk digunakan sebagai media edukasi wawasan disabilitas Universitas Negeri Jakarta yang disebarluaskan melalui Instagram Relawan Disabilitas UNJ. ***** Persons with disabilities often faced stigma and discrimination due to the lack of public understanding about disability. The results of interviews with the founder and the Chairperson of Relawan Disabilitas UNJ, along with the distribution of questionnaires, showed that UNJ students had a low level of awareness and understanding. Therefore, it was important to study disability awareness to support better understanding when interacting with persons with disabilities. This study aimed to produce an educational media on disability awareness in the form of motion graphics using the Four-D model. The Four-D model consisted of four stages: define, design, develop, and disseminate. The results of this study were three motion graphic videos titled (1) What is Disability?, (2) Disability Rights, and (3) Interaction Etiquette with Persons with Disabilities. The validation results from two material experts showed a feasibility percentage of 100%, and the two media experts gave an average feasibility percentage of 95.5% for the three videos. Additionally, responses from 70 participants showed an average feasibility percentage of 92.5%. Therefore, it was concluded that the motion graphic videos were categorized as “Highly Feasible” to be used as educational media on disability awareness at Universitas Negeri Jakarta, and were disseminated through the Instagram account of Relawan Disabilitas UNJ
