Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meganalisa pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah, efikasi diri, dan iklim organisasi terhadap perilaku inovatif guru Sekolah Menengah Pertama di Kota Bukittinggi. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan metode survei dengan pengisian instrumen berupa kuesioner. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 160 guru yang diperoleh dengan menggunakan teknik proportional sampling. Pengolahan data menggunakan pendekatan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan software SmartPLS. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa: 1) Kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh langsung terhadap perilaku inovatif. 2) Efikasi diri berpengaruh langsung terhadap perilaku inovatif. 3) Iklim organisasi berpengaruh langsung terhadap perilaku inovatif. 4) Kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh langsung terhadap efikasi diri. 5) Kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh langsung terhadap iklim organisasi. 6) Iklim organisasi berpengaruh langsung terhadap efikasi diri. 7) Kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh tidak langsung terhadap perilaku inovatif guru yang dimediasi oleh efikasi diri. 8) Kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh tidak langsung terhadap perilaku inovatif guru yang dimediasi oleh iklim organisasi. 9) Iklim organisasi berpengaruh tidak langsung terhadap perilaku inovatif guru dimediasi oleh efikasi diri. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa perilaku inovatif dapat dikembangkan melalui peningkatan kepemimpinan transformasional, efikasi diri, dan iklim organisasi This study aims to analyze the influence of school principals’ transformational leadership, self-efficacy, and organizational climate on the innovative behavior of junior high school teachers in Bukittinggi City. The research employed a quantitative method. Data were collected using a survey technique through a questionnaire instrument. The sample consisted of 160 teachers selected using proportional sampling technique. Data were processed using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach with SmartPLS software. The results of the study indicate that: (1) Transformational leadership has a direct effect on innovative behavior; (2) Self-efficacy has a direct effect on innovative behavior; (3) Organizational climate has a direct effect on innovative behavior; (4) Transformational leadership has a direct effect on self-efficacy; (5) Transformational leadership has a direct effect on organizational climate; (6) Organizational climate has a direct effect on self-efficacy; (7) Transformational leadership has an indirect effect on teachers’ innovative behavior mediated by self-efficacy; (8) Transformational leadership has an indirect effect on teachers’ innovative behavior mediated by organizational climate; (9) Organizational climate has an indirect effect on teachers’ innovative behavior mediated by self-efficacy. Based on the results, it can be concluded that innovative behavior can be developed through the enhancement of transformational leadership, self-efficacy, and organizational climate.
