Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis strategi penerapan prinsip Lean Inventory dengan metode SWOT dalam pengelolaan persediaan barang material sirkulasi di Gudang XYZ. Pengelolaan persediaan barang material sirkulasi yang efektif sangat diperlukan untuk meminimalisir pemborosan dan meningkatkan efisiensi operasional. Dalam praktiknya, Gudang XYZ menghadapi masalah penumpukan barang berlebih dan ketidakseimbangan permintaan yang dapat mengakibatkan kerugian, baik dari sisi waktu, biaya, maupun ruang penyimpanan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini mengusulkan penerapan prinsip Lean Inventory, khususnya dengan menggunakan konsep Stream dan Pull untuk memastikan distribusi barang berjalan lancar dan persediaan hanya ada sesuai kebutuhan aktual. Analisis SWOT digunakan untuk mengevaluasi kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang, dan ancaman yang dapat mempengaruhi keberhasilan implementasi prinsip tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan Lean Inventory di Gudang XYZ dapat mengurangi pemborosan, mempercepat distribusi, serta meningkatkan akurasi dalam pengelolaan stok barang material sirkulasi. Namun, tantangan seperti fluktuasi permintaan yang tidak terduga dan keterbatasan dalam sistem teknologi perlu diatasi untuk memastikan keberhasilan implementasi secara berkelanjutan ***** This study analyzes the implementation of Lean Inventory principles with the SWOT method in the management of circulation material inventory at Warehouse XYZ. Effective inventory management of circulation materials is crucial to minimize waste and improve operational efficiency. In practice, Warehouse XYZ faces issues such as excessive stock accumulation and demand imbalances, which can lead to losses in terms of time, cost, and storage space. Therefore, this study proposes the application of Lean Inventory principles, specifically using the Stream and Pull concepts to ensure smooth distribution and that inventory is kept only according to actual needs. The SWOT analysis is used to evaluate the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats that could impact the successful implementation of these principles. The results of the study show that the application of Lean Inventory at Warehouse XYZ can reduce waste, speed up distribution, and improve the accuracy of circulation material inventory management. However, challenges such as unpredictable demand fluctuations and limitations in technology systems need to be addressed to ensure sustainable successful implementation.
