Abstract
ABSTRAK Aryati: Pengembangan model gerakan dasar berbasis permainan tradisional untuk meningkatkan literasi fisik anak usia dini. Program Doktor Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini, Sekolah Pascasarjana, Universitas Negeri Jakarta 2025. Penurunan keterampilan gerak dasar pada anak usia dini yang disebabkan oleh perubahan gaya hidup dan berkurangnya aktivitas fisik menjadi permasalahan global yang mendapat perhatian dalam agenda pembangunan jangka panjang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model pembelajaran gerak dasar berbasis permainan tradisional guna meningkatkan literasi fisik anak usia dini. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D)dengan mengintegrasikan model pengembangan Borg & Gall dandesain instruksional ADDIE. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 30 guru Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) di Kuningan (Jawa Barat), dan Sokaraja-Purwokerto (Jawa Tengah), serta 99 anak yang terbagi dalam kelompok uji coba terbatas, uji skala besar, dan uji lapangan operasional. Instrumen penelitian meliputi angket, lembar observasi, dan lembar penilaian literasi fsik melalui permainan tradisional yang menyenengkan dilingkungan sekitar. Analisis data dilakukan secara kuantitatif dan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model ABC (Ambil, Bawa, Coba) secara signifikan meningkatkan literasi fisik anak usia dini, yang mencakup aspek motivasi, kepercayaan diri, kompetensi fisik, pengetahuan, dan pemahaman terhadap gaya hidup aktif. Validasi ahli menunjukkan bahwa model ini layak dan praktis untuk diterapkan di lingkungan PAUD. Selain itu, penggunaan buku teks pengembangan model ABC juga efektif dalam meningkatkan gerak dasar berbasis permainan tradisional. Model ini memberikan kerangka pedagogis yang bermakna, interaktif, relevan secara budaya, dan mendukung perkembangan holistik anak usia dini, serta membantu guru menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang menyenangkan dan bermakna melalui permainan tradisional sebagai dasar meningkatkan literasi fisik anak usia 4-5 tahun. The decline in basic movement skills in early childhood caused by lifestyle changes and reduced physical activity is a global problem that receives attention in the long-term development agenda. This research aims to develop a basic movement learning model based on traditional games to improve physical literacy in early childhood. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) by integrating the Borg & Gall development model and ADDIE instructional design. The research subjects consisted of 30 Early Childhood Education (PAUD) teachers in Kuningan (West Java), and Sokaraja-Purwokerto (Central Java), as well as 99 children divided into limited trial groups, large-scale tests, and operational field tests. The research instruments include questionnaires, observation sheets, and physics literacy assessment sheets through fun traditional games in the surrounding environment. Data analysis was carried out quantitatively and qualitatively descriptive. The results showed that the ABC (Take, Carry, Try) model significantly improved early childhood physical literacy, which included aspects of motivation, confidence, physical competence, knowledge, and understanding of an active lifestyle. Expert validation shows that this model is feasible and practical to be applied in an early childhood education environment. In addition, the use of ABC model development textbooks is also effective in improving basic movements based on traditional games. This model provides a pedagogical framework that is meaningful, interactive, culturally relevant, and supports holistic early childhood development, as well as helping teachers create fun and meaningful learning experiences through traditional games as a basis for improving the physical literacy of children aged 4-5 years.
