Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikkan secara empiris mengenai seberapa besar pengaruh penggunaan aplikasi TikTok sebagai media pembelajaran terhadap hasil belajar sejarah peserta didik di SMA Negeri 33 Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen dan desain Pretest-Posttest Control Group. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Purposive Sampling, dan didapatkan kelas XI-F1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI-F3 sebagai kelas kontrol dengan masing-masing kelas secara keseluruhan berjumlah 34 orang. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes berbentuk pilihan ganda dengan berjumlah 37 butir pertanyaan yang telah melewati tahap uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Merujuk pada hasil analisis data, rata-rata hasil belajar sejarah peserta didik di kelas eksperimen menunjukkan peningkatan yang lebih tinggi (66,26) dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol (61,26). Hasil data pengujian hipotesis melalui uji t independet sample t-test juga menunjukkan bahwa nilai t hitung (2,118) lebih besar dari nilai t tabel (1.997), yang mengindikasikan bahwa Hipotesis awal (Ha) diterima. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat adanya pengaruh penggunaan aplikasi TikTok sebagai media pembelajaran terhadap hasil belajar sejarah peserta didik di SMA Negeri 33 Jakarta. ***** This research aims to empirically prove the extent of the influence of using the TikTok application as a learning medium on the history learning outcomes of students at SMA Negeri 33 Jakarta. This study employs a quantitative approach with an experimental method and a Pretest-Posttest Control Group design. The sampling technique used was Purposive Sampling, which selected class XI-F1 as the experimental group and class XI-F3 as the control group, with each class consisting of 34 students. The research instrument was a multiple-choice test with 37 questions that had passed validity and reliability tests. Based on the data analysis, the average learning outcomes in history for students in the experimental class showed a higher increase (66.26) compared to the control class (61.26). The hypothesis testing results, using an independent sample t-test, also indicated that the calculated t-value (2.118) was greater than the tabulated t-value (1.997), signifying that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. These findings indicate that there is an influence of using the TikTok application as a learning medium on students' history learning outcomes at SMA Negeri 33 Jakarta.
