Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan alat peraga termoskop sebagai media pembelajaran fisika pada materi termodinamika di tingkat Sekolah Menengah Atas. Materi suhu dan kalor yang bersifat abstrak seringkali menyulitkan peserta didik dalam memahaminya secara mendalam. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan media yang dapat memvisualisasikan konsep tersebut secara langsung. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate), namun dibatasi hingga tahap Develop. Prosedur pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui validasi oleh ahli materi dan media, serta angket persepsi peserta didik. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa alat ini sangat valid, dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 91,65% dari ahli materi dan 87,5% dari ahli media. Selain itu, uji coba terbatas terhadap sepuluh peserta didik memperoleh skor rata-rata 86,93%, menunjukkan bahwa alat ini praktis, mudah digunakan, dan menarik. Oleh karena itu, alat termoskop yang dikembangkan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran sebagai media bantu visual untuk memperjelas konsep perpindahan kalor. Kata kunci: termoskop, perpindahan kalor, media pembelajaran, pengembangan alat peraga, termodinamika. ***** This study aims to Develop a thermoscope teaching aid as a physics learning medium for thermodynamics material at the senior high school level. The concepts of heat and temperature are abstract in nature, making them difficult for students to grasp without visual support. Therefore, concrete media that can demonstrate these phenomena directly are needed. The research employed the 4D Development model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate), though limited only to the Develop stage. Data collection was carried out through expert validation (content and media) and student response questionnaires. The results show high validity, with an average score of 91.65% from the content expert and 87.5% from the media expert. Additionally, a small-scale trial involving ten students yielded an average score of 86.93%, indicating that the thermoscope is practical, user-friendly, and engaging. Thus, the Developed thermoscope is deemed suitable as a visual teaching aid to support the learning of heat transfer concepts.
