Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis hubungan persepsi siswa terhadap program Adiwiyata dengan kecerdasan sosial emosional siswa kelas V SD di Kelurahan Srengseng Sawah Jakarta Selatan. Kerangka teori CASEL (Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning) digunakan sebagai landasan pengukuran kecerdasan sosial emosional siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional, dengan sampel sebanyak 95 siswa yang dipilih melalui teknik sampling sensus. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya, kemudian dianalisis dengan teknik korelasi product moment Pearson. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif antara persepsi siswa terhadap penerapan program sekolah adiwiyata dengan kecerdasan sosial emosional siswa. Koefisien korelasi (rxy) sebesar 0,647 mengindikasikan hubungan yang kuat dan positif. Koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0,418 menunjukkan persepsi siswa terhadap program Adiwiyata berkontribusi 41,8% terhadap variasi kecerdasan sosial emosional, sedangkan 58,2% dipengaruhi faktor lain. Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa semakin positif persepsi siswa terhadap program Adiwiyata, semakin tinggi kecerdasan sosial emosional mereka. Program Adiwiyata terbukti efektif sebagai media pengembangan kecerdasan sosial emosional melalui kegiatan berbasis lingkungan yang mengintegrasikan aspek empati, kesadaran sosial, dan keterampilan kolaborasi. ***** The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between students' perceptions of the Adiwiyata program and the social emotional intelligence of fifth grade elementary school students in Srengseng Sawah Village, South Jakarta. The CASEL (Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning) theoretical framework was used as the foundation for measuring students' social emotional intelligence. This study employed a quantitative correlational approach, with a sample of 95 students selected through census sampling technique. Data were collected using questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability, then analyzed using Pearson product moment correlation technique. The results showed that there is a positive relationship between students' perceptions of the Adiwiyata school program implementation and students' social emotional intelligence. The correlation coefficient (rxy) of 0.647 indicates a strong and positive relationship. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.418 shows that students' perceptions of the Adiwiyata program contribute 41.8% to the variation in social emotional intelligence, while 58.2% is influenced by other factors. These findings prove that the more positive students' perceptions of the Adiwiyata program, the higher their social emotional intelligence. The Adiwiyata program proves to be effective as a medium for developing social emotional intelligence through environment-based activities that integrate aspects of empathy, social awareness, and collaboration skills.
