Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi interpersonal anggota dalam sebuah lingkungan pengembangan diri melalui metode pembelajaran berbasis roleplay. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan (Action Research) yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus. Setiap siklus dirancang dengan tema yang relevan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari peserta dan disesuaikan dengan lima aspek komunikasi interpersonal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan skor rata-rata komunikasi interpersonal dari pra tindakan (2,69 atau 53,87%) menjadi 3,08 (61,60%) pada Siklus I, 3,86 (77,73%) pada Siklus II, dan mencapai 4,54 (90,93%) pada Siklus III. Secara keseluruhan, terjadi peningkatan sebesar 1,85 poin atau 37,06% dari awal hingga akhir siklus. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa metode roleplay dapat memberikan pengalaman belajar yang konkret dan efektif dalam membangun keterampilan komunikasi antarindividu. Kesimpulannya, pembelajaran melalui pendekatan roleplay mampu menjadi alternatif yang signifikan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal dalam wadah pengembangan keterampilan sosial. / ***** This study aims to improve interpersonal communication abilities among participants in a self-development setting through learning activities based on the roleplay method. The research employed an Action Research approach carried out in three cycles. Each cycle was designed with themes that were relevant to participants’ daily lives and aligned with five key aspects of interpersonal communication. The findings show a consistent improvement in the average interpersonal communication scores, starting from the pre-action phase (2.69 or 53.87%) to 3.08 (61.60%) in Cycle I, 3.86 (77.73%) in Cycle II, and finally 4.54 (90.93%) in Cycle III. Overall, there was a 1.85-point increase, or 37.06%, from the beginning to the end of the cycles. These results indicate that the roleplay approach offers concrete and effective learning experiences in building interpersonal communication competence. In conclusion, roleplay-based learning can serve as a significant alternative to enhance interpersonal communication skills within social skills development initiatives.
