Abstract

Cindyaningsih Kurniawan. Strategi Membangun Citra Positif SMP Negeri 70 Jakarta. Skripsi. Jakarta: Program Studi Pendidikan Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial, Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Hukum, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, 2025. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strategi membangun citra positif SMP Negeri 70 Jakarta serta memahami bagaimana upaya SMP Negeri 70 Jakarta membangun citra positifnya. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP Negeri 70 Jakarta selama tujuh bulan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, studi pustaka, wawancara, dan dokumentasi terhadap pihak sekolah seperti Kepala Sekolah, Wakil Kepala Sekolah bidang Kesiswaan dan Humas, Wakil Kepala Sekolah bidang Kurikulum. Analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi membangun citra positif SMP Negeri 70 Jakarta berjalan melalui bentuk-bentuk strategi meliputi merealisasikan slogan menarik pada program sekolah, kolaborasi dengan Polsek Tanah Abang dalam penyuluhan kenakalan remaja, memiliki program literasi setiap hari Kamis, aktif dalam pelatihan internal guru dengan program pelatihan literasi dan numerasi, pelatihan penulisan soal berbasis HOTS, pelatihan yang berkolaborasi dengan institusi pendidikan seperti UHAMKA serta pelatihan yang dilaksanakan Dinas Pendidikan DKI Jakarta dalam rentan waktu satu bulan, dan memiliki program pembiasaan pagi 5S dan pembinaan wali kelas. Adapun dampak terhadap terbangunnya citra sekolah, diantaranya mendapat kepercayaan peserta didik, diminati calon peserta didik, terbangunnya citra positif sekolah, dan meraih banyak prestasi. This study aims to describe the strategy of building a positive image of SMP Negeri 70 Jakarta and understand how SMP Negeri 70 Jakarta's efforts to build its positive image. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 70 Jakarta for seven months. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection was carried out through observation, literature study, interviews, and documentation of school officials such as the Principal, Vice Principal for Student Affairs and Public Relations, Vice Principal for Curriculum. Data analysis was carried out using data reduction techniques, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that the strategy of building a positive image of SMP Negeri 70 Jakarta runs through strategic forms including realizing an attractive slogan in school programs, collaboration with the Tanah Abang Police in juvenile delinquency counseling, having a literacy program every Thursday, being active in internal teacher training with literacy and numeracy training programs, HOTS-based question writing training, training in collaboration with educational institutions such as UHAMKA and training carried out by the DKI Jakarta Education Office within a one-month period, and having a 5S morning habituation program and homeroom teacher coaching. The impacts on building the school's image include gaining the trust of students, attracting the interest of prospective students, building a positive image of the school, and achieving many achievements.
