Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari penerapan model Project-Based Learning berbantuan Flashcard terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi-experiment dengan desain penelitian post-test only control group design. Pada penelitian ini, pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik Cluster Random Sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu kelas VIII-A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII-F sebagai kelas kontrol di SMP Negeri 8 Jakarta. Untuk mengukur kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa, kedua kelas diberikan instrumen post-test kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis berupa lima soal uraian terkait materi peluang yang telah dinyatakan valid dan reliabel. Hasil pengujian hipotesis dengan uji-t menggunakan taraf signifikansi α=0,05 menunjukkan nilai thitung = 4,298 dan ttabel = 1,667, sehingga nilai thitung > ttabel yang berarti H1 diterima. Hal tersebut membuktikan bahwa model pembelajaran Project-Based Learning berbantuan Flashcard memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Uji Cohen’s menunjukkan persentase besar pengaruh perlakuan yang diberikan sebesar 84%. ***** This study aimed to determine the effect of implementing the Project-Based Learning model assisted by Flashcard on students' mathematical problem-solving abilities. The research method used in this study was a quasi-experimental study with a post-test only control group design. The sampling technique used was Cluster Random Sampling. The sample in this study was class VIII-A as the experimental class and class VIII-F as the control class at SMP Negeri 8 Jakarta. To measure students' mathematical problem-solving abilities, both classes were given a post-test instrument consisting of five descriptive questions related to probability that were declared valid and reliable. The results of the hypothesis testing using a t-test using a significance level of α = 0.05 showed a calculated t-value = 4.298 and a t-table = 1.667, indicating that the calculated t-value > t-table value, indicating that H0 was rejected. This proves that the Project-Based Learning model assisted by Flashcard has a significant effect on students' mathematical problem-solving abilities. Cohen's test shows a large percentage of the influence of the treatment given of 84%.
