Abstract

Media sosial adalah sarana komunikasi berbasis internet yang digunakan untuk berinteraksi, menjalin relasi, bekerja sama, bertukar informasi, serta mengekspresikan diri. Salah satu platform media sosial yang saat ini populer sebagai sumber informasi adalah Instagram. Penelitian ini berjudul “Hubungan Penggunaan Media Sosial Instagram @Dinkes.Dki Dengan Sikap Waspada Gejala Demam Berdarah Dengue” (Survei Pada Likers "Yuk, Kenali Tanda & Gejala Demam Berdarah Dengue DBD” 10 Januari 2025). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejauh mana hubungan penggunaan akun Instagram @Dinkes.Dki dengan sikap kewaspadaan para likers terhadap gejala Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD). Penelitian ini mengacu pada konsep komunikasi massa dengan menggunakan teori kognitif sosial milik Albert Bandura yang mencakup tiga tahapan, yakni pembelajaran observasional, efek penghambatan, dan efek disinhibisi. Variabel yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah media sosial dan sikap. Pada variabel media sosial, terdapat empat dimensi yang meliputi: social media use for communication, social media use for collaboration, social media use for education, dan social media use for entertainment. Sementara itu, variabel sikap memiliki 3 dimensi yaitu: Efforthfull, Relatively Enduring, dan Requirement a dimension of judgment. Paradigma penelitian adalah positivisme dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Metode survei dilakukan melalui kuesioner online kepada likers unggahan “Yuk, Kenali Tanda & Gejala Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD)” pada 10 Januari 2025. Teknik purposive sampling menghasilkan 81 likers. Analisis data menggunakan univariate dan uji korelasi Pearson. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dimensi social media use for education memiliki nilai mean tertinggi dalam variabel media sosial, sedangkan dimensi effortfull paling tinggi dalam variabel sikap. Data penelitian berdistribusi normal berdasarkan uji normalitas Kolmogorov-Smirnov. Grafik scatter plot menunjukkan pola hubungan linear positif antara variabel media sosial dan sikap yang ditunjukkan oleh penyebaran titik dari kiri bawah ke kanan atas. Diperkuat dengan hasil uji korelasi Pearson yang membuktikan adanya korelasi positif yang sangat kuat dan signifikan antara penggunaan media sosial Instagram @dinkes.dki dengan sikap waspada gejala Demam Berdarah Dengue pada likers. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa penggunaan media sosial Instagram @dinkes.dki memiliki hubungan yang sangat kuat dengan sikap waspada gejala Demam Berdarah Dengue pada likers. Saran yang dapat diberikan untuk akun @dinkes.dki adalah agar konten edukasi yang diunggah dapat disertai ajakan yang lebih emosional seperti kisah nyata penyintas DBD, meningkatkan frekuensi unggahan terkait pencegahan DBD, serta berkolaborasi dengan tokoh publik atau influencer kesehatan untuk memperluas jangkauan audiens. One social media platform currently popular as a source of information is Instagram. This study is entitled "The Relationship Between the Use of the Instagram Social Media Account @Dinkes.Dki and Attitudes of Vigilance for Dengue Fever Symptoms" (Survey of Likers of "Let's Get to Know the Signs & Symptoms of Dengue Fever and Dengue Fever" January 10, 2025). The purpose of this study was to determine the extent of the relationship between the use of the Instagram account @Dinkes.Dki and likers' attitudes of vigilance for Dengue Fever (DHF) symptoms. This study refers to the concept of mass communication using Albert Bandura's social cognitive theory, which includes three stages: observational learning, inhibition effects, and disinhibition effects. The variables examined in this study are social media and attitudes. Within the social media variable, there are four dimensions: social media use for communication, social media use for collaboration, social media use for education, and social media use for entertainment. Meanwhile, the attitude variable has three dimensions: Efforthfull, Relatively Enduring, and Requirement (a dimension of judgment). The research paradigm is positivism with a quantitative approach. The survey method was conducted via an online questionnaire to likers of the post "Let's Get to Know the Signs & Symptoms of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF)" on January 10, 2025. A purposive sampling technique resulted in 81 likers. Data analysis used univariate analysis and a Pearson correlation test. The results showed that the social media use for education dimension had the highest mean value among the social media variables, while the effortful dimension had the highest mean value among the attitude variables. The research data were normally distributed based on the Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test. The scatterplot graph shows a positive linear relationship between the social media variables and attitudes, indicated by the distribution of dots from the bottom left to the top right. This is further supported by the Pearson correlation test, which proves a very strong and significant positive correlation between the use of the Instagram social media platform @dinkes.dki and the attitude of alertness to dengue fever symptoms among likers. The conclusion obtained from this study states that the use of the Instagram social media @dinkes.dki has a very strong relationship with the attitude of alertness of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever symptoms among likers. Suggestions that can be given to the @dinkes.dki account are to upload educational content accompanied by more emotional calls to action such as real stories of dengue fever survivors, increase the frequency of posts related to dengue fever prevention, and collaborate with public figures or health influencers to expand audience reach.
