Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari penerapan model pembelajaran search, solve, create and share (SSCS) berbantuan LKPD Terstruktur siswa SMP Negeri 28 Jakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi experiment dengan desain posttest only control group. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan cluster random sampling setelah dipenuhi uji normalitas, homogenitas, dan kesamaan rata-rata. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu kelas VIII G sebagai kelas eksperimen (menggunakan model pembelajaran search, solve, create and share (SSCS) berbantuan LKPD Terstruktur) dan kelas VIII F sebagai kelas kontrol (menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional). Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes kemampuan representasi matematis pada pokok bahasan persamaan garis lurus berupa lima butir soal uraian yang telah melalui uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Berdasarkan perhitungan data hasil penelitian, data hasil tes kedua kelas berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Pengujian hipotesis statistik menggunakan uji-t pada taraf signifikansi α = 0,05, diperoleh nilai thitung = 3,225 dan ttabel = 1,667 sehingga thitung > ttabel maka H0 ditolak. Kemudian, hasil uji Cohen’s Effect Size diperoleh d sebesar 0,8 sehingga besar pengaruhnya yaitu 79% dengan kategori large (besar). Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh dari model pembelajaran yang diterapkan terhadap kemampuan representasi matematis siswa di SMP Negeri 28 Jakarta sebesar 79%. This study aims to determine the effect of Search, Solve, Create and Share (SSCS) learning model assisted structured student worksheets toward student’s mathematical representation ability in SMP Negeri 28 Jakarta. The research method used was a quasi-experiment with posttest only control group design. The sampling technique uses cluster random sampling which has to be required a normality, a homogeneity and an average similarity tests. Class VIII G as the experimental class (using Search, Solve, Create and Share (SSCS) learning model assisted structured student worksheets) and class VIII F as the control class (using conventional learning model). The research instrument used was a test of mathematical representation ability of equation of a straight line in the form of five essay questions that have been tested through validity and reliability. Based on the calculation of the research data, the test results of the two classes were normally distributed and homogeneous. The statistical hypothesis testing uses the t-test at the significance level α = 0.05, obtained by the value of tcount = 3,225 and ttable = 1,667 so, tcount > ttable then H0 is rejected. Based on the Cohen Effect Size test is d = 0,8 and obtained by 79%, included large category. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is an effect of the learning model applied toward student’s mathematical representation ability in SMP Negeri 28 Jakarta of 79%.
