Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi yang diterapkan oleh Padepokan Belah Beludik dalam menguatkan pendidikan karakter disiplin berbasis kearifan lokal Betawi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi pendidikan karakter di padepokan dilakukan melalui pendekatan keteladanan pelatih, pembiasaan terhadap tata tertib latihan, integrasi nilai-nilai budaya dalam aktivitas harian, serta pelibatan komunitas dan keluarga. Strategi ini berhasil membentuk karakter disiplin peserta didik secara konsisten. Namun, ditemukan sejumlah tantangan dalam implementasinya, seperti pengaruh budaya modern yang individualistik, keterbatasan fasilitas, rendahnya komitmen sebagian peserta, serta kurangnya dukungan eksternal dari pemerintah atau lembaga pendidikan formal. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa strategi Padepokan Belah Beludik terbukti efektif dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai disiplin melalui pendekatan berbasis kearifan lokal, meskipun keberlanjutan program masih memerlukan inovasi dan kolaborasi lebih luas. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya peran lembaga pendidikan nonformal berbasis budaya sebagai mitra dalam membentuk karakter generasi muda dan melestarikan identitas budaya lokal. ***** This study aims to analyze the strategies implemented by Padepokan Belah Beludik in strengthening character education focused on discipline, based on Betawi local wisdom. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings indicate that character education strategies at the padepokan are carried out through the exemplary behavior of trainers, habituation to training rules, integration of cultural values into daily activities, and the involvement of the community and families. These strategies have consistently succeeded in shaping students' disciplined character. However, several challenges were identified in the implementation, such as the influence of modern individualistic culture, limited facilities, low commitment among some participants, and a lack of external support from the government or formal educational institutions. The study concludes that the strategies of Padepokan Belah Beludik have proven effective in instilling discipline through a local wisdom-based approach, although sustaining the program requires further innovation and broader collaboration. These findings highlight the important role of culturally based non-formal educational institutions as partners in shaping the character of the younger generation and preserving local cultural identity.
