Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Marital Attitude terhadap kesiapan menikah pada perempuan Emerging Adult etnis Arab Ba’alwy di Jabodetabek. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan sampel berjumlah 96 perempuan Emerging Adult etnis Arab Ba’alwy yang diambil dengan menggunakan tektik purposive sampling. Pengukuran Marital Attitude menggunakan alat ukur General Attitude Towards Marriage dan alat ukur Kesiapan Menikah untuk mengukur kesiapan menikah. Skala General Attitude Towards Marriage memiliki reliabilitas sebesar 0,759 dan skala Kesiapan Menikah sebesar 0.893. Hasil Uji hipotesis dengan analisis regresi linear sederhana menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh Marital Attitude terhadap kesiapan menikah sebesar 14.5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh positif, semakin tinggi Marital Attitude maka semakin tinggi pula kesiapan menikah perempuan Emerging Adult etnis Arab Ba’alwy. ***** This study explores how Marital Attitude influences marital readiness among Emerging Adult women of Arab Ba’alwy descent living Greater Jakarta area (Jabodetabek), Indonesia. Using a quantitative approach, the study involved 96 participants selected through purposive sampling. The General Attitude Toward Marriage was used to asses Marital Attitude, while marital readiness was measured using the Marital Readiness Scale. Both instruments demonstrated strong reliability with Cronbach’s alpa coefficients of 0.866 and 0.893, respectively, A simple linear regression revealed a significant positive relationship between Marital Attitude and marital readiness. These findings suggest that a more positive attitude toward marriage is associated with higher levels of readiness to marry among these young women. In particular, this research underscores that cultural identity and personal beliefs are not merley background factor, but active influences that significantly shape Emerging Adult Arab Ba’alwy women’s readiness to embrace the responsibilities and commitments of marriage.
