Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis manajemen praktik kerja industri di SMKN 26 Jakarta. Pendekatan ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui metode deskriptif. Pendekatan ini mengumpulkan data melalui observasi, studi dokumentasi dan wawancara dengan Wakil Kepala Sekolah Bidang Humas dan Kemitraan, Kepala Sekolah, Guru Pembimbing PRAKERIN, serta Peserta Didik SMKN 26 Jakarta. Penelitian dilakukan untuk menganalisis perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan pengendalian praktik kerja industri di SMKN 26 Jakarta. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Perencanaan PRAKERIN di SMKN 26 Jakarta dilakukan secara sistematis melalui analisis kebutuhan & Persiapan, pembentukan panitia sosialisasi, keterlibatan pemangku kepentingan, penunjukan guru pembimbing industri serta persiapan peserta didik. 2) Pelaksanaan PRAKERIN di SMKN 26 Jakarta berjalan terstruktur, diawali dengan penyelesaian mata pelajaran, pembekalan dari narasumber industri,sosialisasi kepada orang tua, penempatan peserta didik di dunia usaha/industri sesuai kompetensi, serta monitoring rutin oleh pembimbing sekolah dan industri. 3) Pengendalian PRAKERIN di SMKN 26 Jakarta melalui koordinasi dengan perusahaan, pengajuan surat jalan, dan penjadwalan monitoring yang disepakati bersama. Namun, dalam penerapannya SMKN 26 Jakarta memiliki tantangan utama yang dihadapi seperti kurangnya disiplin peserta didik dan kompleksitas koordinasi dengan DU/DI. Secara keseluruhan, manajemen praktik kerja industri di SMKN 26 Jakarta berjalan efektif dan memberikan manfaat optimal bagi peserta didik dalam meningkatkan kompetensi serta kesiapan kerja. ***** This study aims to analyze the management of industrial work practice at SMKN 26 Jakarta. The research employs a qualitative approach using descriptive methods. Data were collected through observation, documentation studies, and interviews with the Vice Principal of Public Relations and Partnerships, the Principal, Industrial Work Practice Supervising Teachers, and students of SMKN 26 Jakarta. The study analyzes the planning, implementation, and control of industrial work practice at SMKN 26 Jakarta. The results show that: 1) The planning of Industrial Work Practice at SMKN 26 Jakarta is carried out systematically through needs analysis and preparation, establishment of a socialization committee, involvement of stakeholders, appointment of industrial supervising teachers, and preparation of students. 2) The implementation of Industrial Work Practice at SMKN 26 Jakarta is structured, starting with the completion of subjects, briefings from industrial resource persons, socialization to parents, placement of students in businesses/industries according to their competencies, and routine monitoring by school and industry supervisors. 3) The control of Industrial Work Practice at SMKN 26 Jakarta is conducted through coordination with companies, submission of travel permits, and scheduling of monitoring as mutually agreed. However, in its implementation, SMKN 26 Jakarta faces main challenges such as lack of student discipline and the complexity of coordination with business/industry partners. Overall, the management of industrial work practice at SMKN 26 Jakarta is effective and provides optimal benefits for students in improving their competencies and work readiness
