Abstract

***** Generation Z is known as a cohort that is highly aware of environmental issues. This study aims to examine the effect of risk perception on green purchase intention toward electric motorcycles among Generation Z. A quantitative approach was employed, involving 150 respondents aged between 17 and 28 years. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire that utilized the risk perception scale developed by Salehudin (2010) and the green purchase intention scale from Chen and Chang (2012). The results of the analysis indicate that risk perception does not have a significant correlation with green purchase intention. Therefore, it can be concluded that risk perception does not influence green purchase intention toward electric motorcycles among Generation Z.
