Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan materi ajar multimodal berbasis aplikasi digital bernama CERITAKAN untuk mendukung pembelajaran menulis teks cerpen siswa SMP kelas VIII. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu penelitian pengembangan atau dikenal dengan Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE, yaitu: (1) Analysis (analisis), (2) Design (Desain), (3) Development (pengembangan), (4) Implementation (penerapan), dan (5) Evaluation (evaluasi). Analisis dilakukan melalui observasi, angket, dan wawancara bersama peserta didik dan guru Bahasa Indonesia untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan pembelajaran. Produk yang dikembangkan berupa aplikasi Android (APK) bernama CERITAKAN yang memuat materi ajar menulis teks cerpen secara multimodal. Adapun hasil validasi menunjukkan skor dari ahli materi sebesar 98,4%, ahli media 98%, dan guru Bahasa Indonesia 97%, yang seluruhnya berada dalam kategori “Sangat Baik”. Selanjutnya, uji keterbacaan dilakukan terhadap 32 siswa SMP Negeri 92 Jakarta kelas VIII dengan hasil rata-rata sebesar 97%, yang juga menunjukkan tingkat kelayakan yang sangat tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi, aplikasi CERITAKAN dinilai “Sangat Layak” dan efektif digunakan sebagai materi ajar Bahasa Indonesia, khususnya pada materi menulis teks cerpen.***** This study aims to develop multimodal teaching materials in the form of a digital application called CERITAKAN, designed to support the teaching of short story writing for eighth-grade junior high school students. The research employed a development method Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The analysis phase was conducted through observations, questionnaires, and interviews with students and Indonesian language teachers to identify learning needs. The resulting product is an Android-based application (APK) named CERITAKAN, which integrates multimodal instructional content. Validation results indicated expert assessments of 98.4% from subject matter experts, 98% from media experts, and 97% from Indonesian language teachers each categorized as highly appropriate. Additionally, a readability test involving 32 eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 92 Jakarta yielded an average score of 97%, indicating a high level of acceptability and usability. Based on these evaluation results, the CERITAKAN application is considered both appropriate and effective as a supplementary instructional tool for teaching short story writing in the Indonesian language curriculum.
