Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan serta mengetahui kelayakan bahan ajar teks berita berbasis aplikasi PEWARTA: Perluas Wawasan Teks Berita berbantuan Smart Apps Creator 3 untuk siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, serta penyebaran angket kuesioner. Analisis data dilakukan secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri atas satu ahli media dan ahli materi, satu guru bahasa Indonesia, serta siswa kelas VII-H di SMP Negeri 2 Jakarta yang berjumlah 36 siswa. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa bahan ajar teks berita berbasis aplikasi PEWARTA berbantuan Smart Apps Creator 3 untuk siswa kelas VII SMP berhasil dikembangkan dan memperoleh skor rata-rata sebesar 4,73 dengan persentase 94,7% dari validator ahli media sedangkan dari validator materi memperoleh skor rata-rata sebesar 4,63 dengan persentase 92,5%, sehingga keduanya termasuk ke dalam kategori sangat baik/sangat layak. Selanjutnya dilakukan penilaian oleh guru bahasa Indonesia dan memperoleh skor rata-rata sebesar 4,87 dengan persentase 97,3% dan termasuk ke dalam kategori sangat baik/sangat layak. Lalu, dilakukan uji coba kepada 36 siswa dan mendapatkan respons atau tanggapan berupa skor rata-rata sebesar 4,7 dengan persentase 94% dan termasuk ke dalam kategori sangat baik/sangat layak. Secara keseluruhan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar dalam aplikasi PEWARTA sangat baik/sangat layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran teks berita kelas VII SMP. Kata Kunci: Bahan Ajar, Teks Berita, PEWARTA, Smart Apps Creator 3 *** ABSTRACT*** This research aims to develop and determine the feasibility of news text teaching materials based on the PEWARTA application: Expanding News Text Insights with the help of Smart Apps Creator 3 for students of class VII of SMP Negeri 2 Jakarta. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) development model. Data collection techniques include observation, interview, and distribution of questionnaire questionnaires. Data analysis is carried out qualitatively and quantitatively. The subject of this research consists of one media expert and material expert, one Indonesian language teacher, and 36 students in class VII-H at SMP Negeri 2 Jakarta. The results of this research prove that the news text teaching material based on the PEWARTA application with the help of Smart Apps Creator 3 for students in class VII of Junior High School was successfully developed and obtained an average score of 4.73 with a percentage of 94.7% from media expert validators while from the material validators obtained an average score of 4.63 with a percentage of 92.5%, so that both are included in the very good/very decent category. Next, an assessment was carried out by an Indonesian language teacher and obtained an average score of 4.87 with a percentage of 97.3% and included in the very good/very decent category. Then a trial was conducted on 36 students and received a response or response in the form of an average score of 4,7 with a percentage of 94% and included in the very good/very decent category. Overall, it can be concluded that the teaching materials in the PEWARTA application are very good/very suitable for use in learning news texts for class VII junior high school.
