Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk berupa video tutorial "Mengekspresikan Emosi" pada pembelajaran Bimbingan Konseling untuk peserta didik kelas IV di SD Labschool Cibubur. Pengembangan ini mengacu pada model pengembangan Hannafin dan Peck yang melalui tiga fase mulai dari need assesment, design, development and implementation. Evaluasi pada pengembangan ini menggunakan evaluasi formatif dengan metode wawancara dan angket kepada ahli materi, ahli media, dan ahli desain pembelajaran. Hasil dari expert review oleh ahli materi memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 3,75 (sangat baik), ahli media memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 3,52 (sangat baik), dan ahli desain pembelajaran memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 3,57 (sangat baik). Berdasarkan hasil dari expert review yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa produk Video Tutorial “Mengekspresikan Emosi” sudah layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar pada layanan klasikal Bimbingan Konseling. Kemudian, tahap selanjutnya, yaitu melakukan uji coba pengguna evaluasi one-to-one dengan menggunakan wawancara, tahap small group dengan wawancara, observasi, dan tes yang mendapat nilai n-gain score sebesar 0.71 yang tergolong tinggi, tahap field test menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan tes dengan mendapat nilai n-gain score 0.71 yang tergolong tinggi. Dari uji coba yang dilaksanakan diperoleh hasil bahwa video tutorial sudah efektif digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. Diharapkan video tutorial dapat menjadi media pendukung yang efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman emosi dasar peserta didik dan menambah pengetahuan umum mengenai pengembangan video tutorial dengan model Hannafin & Peck. ***** This development research aims to produce a video tutorial titled “Expressing Emotions” for Guidance and Counselling instruction, targeting fourth-grade students at SD Labschool Cibubur. The development process refers to the Hannafin and Peck model, which consists of three phases: need assessment, design, and development and implementation. The evaluation used a formative approach through interviews and questionnaires involving subject matter experts, media experts, and instructional design experts. The expert review results showed an average score of 3.75 (very good) from the subject matter expert, 3.52 (very good) from the media expert, and 3.57 (very good) from the instructional design expert. These results indicate that the "Expressing Emotions" video tutorial is feasible to be used as instructional material in classroom-based Guidance and Counselling services. The next phase involved user trials, including a one-to-one evaluation using interviews, a small group trial involving interviews, observations, and tests, which resulted in an n-gain score of 0.71 categorized as high, and a field test that also yielded an n-gain score of 0.71, also categorized as high. The results show that the video tutorial is effective as a learning medium. It is expected that this video tutorial can serve as a supportive medium to improve students’ understanding of basic emotions and contribute to broader knowledge regarding video tutorial development using the Hannafin and Peck model.
